Oakley POV
*November 24*
It has started to snow a bit by the time Mara parks her car Tuesday morning.
"Ewe! Snow," Sequels Gwen, who puts a textbook over her head and starts to run towards the school.
Rolling my eyes, I open the door, my arms full of book.
"Two more weeks till break," comments Mara, who locks her car. "
Yup." I nod as we enter the school. We head to our lockers. Today I'm wearing a plain white tee with a lilac purple knitted sweater/cardigan. Also dark blue skinny jeans with deep burgundy knee high boots and the necklace Ash gave me.
Anyways, I open my locker and put the books I was holding away. As I grab my AP History binder and head to class when two arms encircle my waist.
"Hey." Says Logan who rest his head on my shoulder. "
Um...hi." I mumble awkwardly.
Nice one Oakley!
"Want me to walk you to class?" He chuckles, I nod and grab my coffee before closing my locker. He grabs my hand and walks me to History.
Ok, I need to give you an explanation.
10 day earlier
*November 15th*
"What should I wear?!" I exclaim, when Mara comes up the stairs to my room on a sunny Saturday morning. "I'm a millionaire, how is this so hard?"
"Chill, Ley." She laughs, sitting down on one of my couches. "I'll find you an outfit, and you can go have a shower." She instructs.
"Good plan." I state heading to the bathroom.
Ten minutes later I come out of the bathroom to find a note on a pile of clothes.
'I think this will be good. Had to go to work. Mrs. Liber is sick. Have fun with Logan ;)'
The outfit she chose was black tights, a long white flowing tee-shirt, and a button up white sweater. I added a dark brown lightly poufy vest over top of the sweater.
Quickly, I get change and, after deciding to go for simple makeup, put my hair in a messy bun,
Looking over at my clock I see there's still forty-five minutes until I should go to the park. I arrive in the kitchen for a snack.
"Where are you going?" asks Ash, who's eating a sandwich.
"Somewhere." I state, grabbing a muffin.
"With Logan Bell?" he inquires, raising an eyebrow.
How does he know? Wait...Mara! Oh she's gonna get.
"I know everything O." he says, getting up and taping on my shoulder then heading outside. My mouth is in a scowl.
"Most guys don't find scowling attractive." Yells Ash, before slamming the front door.
I still have loads of time so I decide to head to living-room and read. Cedar, my fluffy puppy decides to snuggle with me. My book is a historical wartime love triangle thing, it's so good!
Since I was smart enough to put a timer on, it goes off as I'm finishing of the chapter. "Perfect." I say, picking Cedar up and placing him on the pile of blankets.
Quickly going upstairs, I use my handy dandy lint roller to remove my puppy's hair off my outfit and put on some perfume. After making sure everything is perfect, I put my shoes on and head out. (Willow was with my mom shopping in New Chester).

The trees had turned brown and orange, the leaves falling perfectly around. It was slightly cold but the sun did a good job at keeping the temperature tolerable. As I enter the park gate, I saw Logan, sitting on bench, who kept running his hands through his hair.
How cute!
I walk towards him.
"Hi," I greet nervously.
"Hey!" a smile is replaces the nervous frown on previously.
"Were you waiting long?" I ask.
"No, only been here for a couple minutes."
There's a moment of scilence, before he stands up.
"I was thinking we could walk up town then hang at the park for a bit." He suggests.
"Sure."
An awkward silence follows once we leave the park.
Say something Oakley!
"You look good." Says Logan, I blush.
"You look pretty good yourself." I add, smiling.
He did though; dark blue jeans and a thick grey hoody, jacket thing.
"Is the necklace new?" he asks, putting his hands in his pockets.
"Yeah, my brother gave it to me at the gala." I answer, as I start playing it. He nods his head.
Finally we reach the town. We stop by the bakery and get chocolate croissants, before heading back to the park, playing 20 questions.
"I can't believe your scared of mice!" I exclaim, as we enter the park.
"I can't believe you have Disney movie collection!" he counters, when we take a seat in the gazebo.
Laughing, I pull out our croissants.
"These are so good." Says Logan, and I nod my head in agreement.
"Okay, my turn." I states and turn to face him. "Favorite drink in the whole world."
He ponders a bit. "Ice Tea." He concludes, finishing his croissant. "What's yours?"
"Mochas." I respond, putting the napkins in the paper bag.
"My last question is... can you do the cup song?" I say, throwing the bag in the garbage. "Yes, I bet you can't though." He replies, smirking.
I look at the ground, to which he laughs.
"My last question, would you hang out with me after school Monday?" he wonders, running his hands through his hair.
I smile, "Sure."
He visibly relaxes and smiles, "Good cause it would have been very awkward if you said no."
He walks me home afterwards. The sun is setting when we get there.
"You didn't have to walk me over here, you live on the other side of town." I state, turning to face him.
"It's a rule all men must follow." He shrugs.
We exchange numbers and then he leaves. After I head inside I call Mara and tell her about my date with Logan Bell.
