Regrets

E I G H T E E N

"Look there's an ice cream shop across the road," she said pointing to it. How is she so cute, how she jumps up and down when she just sees an ice cream van, how she scrunches up her noes when shes mad and puts when she thinks. 

"wait let me answer this "she scrunched up his nose but still waited. I picked up the phone and Tehyung answered.

"Yes, Hyung?" I asked into the phone.

 "Where are you?" he shouted and I could tell he was worried. 

"I'm with Miare don't worry" I laughed swinging mu hand which was intertwined with her's. 

"what," he asked shocked when Miare stole the phone form me.

"Hey, Taehyung, yah me and kookie are together now and don't worry I'll give you your letter soon. I snatched the phone of her and mouthed really asking if we were really together and she nodded and looked away quickly getting shy.

"Jeon Jungkook what was that" I heard Taehyung speaking loudly. Miare was getting impatient and started tugging on my sleeve for us to got to cross the road. I mouther her to go get it and she happily crossed the road.

"Hyung did you here her I smiled widely at the phone. 

"Yes I did and you better tell me what going on," he asked even more confused. I was to busy watching Miare cutey skip to the shop to her what Taehyung was saying. She had brought the two icecreams and were waving around while crossing the road. "Be careful!" I yelled out but it was too late...

 A car came at full speed and crashed into her causing her to go flying. I dropped the phone and ran to her.

"Miare!" I shouted picking her up laying her head onto my lap, blood was everywhere. 

"J-Jungkook," she said lifting her hand and touching my face "I-I'm sorry," she said before her eyes shut and her hand dropped.

"Maire no! please you'll be fine" I said squeezing her hand. I could finally hear sirens in the distance. 

I cupped her cheeks "miare wake up" I said, my thumbs running across her cheekbones.

 "MIARE!" I shouted. But there was still no response. I cried and bent over her body.

The ambulance came and the paramedic put her on a stretcher. They said that she didn't have much time and had to give her a shock there. They got the two metal magnets and pressed it against her chest her body jerked up because of the shock. I stood there right next to the stretcher praying. They put the magnet on her chest a second time and this time when she got jerked up her hand suddenly grabbed a hold of mine. They tried one more time but this time she didn't move and stayed still. My heart dropped. is she really gone?

"I'm sorry," the doctor said and my eyes got filled and my throat hurt so I couldn't respond.

"shes gone..."
