Regrets

F I V E

" Wow, baby look at the view" I dashed towards the park looking at the beautiful flowers. I was pulling Felix along, he was looking at his camera and smiling in response. It had been 3 weeks since the confession.

"It's amazing" he breathed helping me spread the picnic blanket. We both sat down enjoying the warm breeze.  The park was rather secluded, so it was a perfect place to relax.

I closed my eyes and tilt my head taking in the fresh scent of flowers. I opened my eyes to see a couple running down the hill playing tag, which made me smile a little. I was startled by a click.

"perfect," Felix giggled pulling the camera from his eye. I grin before sitting up and pulling the camera off him to snap a photo.

"you TOO cute" I exclaimed smiling.

"Aish you're making me shy," he said burring face in his hand embarrassed. We both ate the sandwiches I packed while talking about life college, anything really, we loved each other's company.

I got up and ran through the flowers not looking back.

"yah y/n wait for me" Felix shouted trying to grab his camera and chase me. 

 I was so focused on the different types of flowers and their unique scents, I didn't notice two guys standing behind me.

"what do we have here? " I heard one of them ask. 

"I think we just found the prettiest flower," the other said nudging his friend and winking at me.

"thank you?" I chuckled nervously raising an eyebrow. 

"what are you doing all alone here"

"I'm having a picnic with my boyfriend" I looked back to find that he wasn't behind me anymore. Sh*t should I run. What am I gonna do? Please don't harm me, please don't.

"come hang out with us" Lots of thought went through my head with that one sentence. I  knew this wasn't going to get pretty. My heartbeat was really beating fast I felt like my heart was falling out.

"No thanks," I managed to say moving backward.

"Oh come on stay," he said grabbing my wrist. He pulled me closer, I smelled smoke from his breath and was getting weak, I hate that smell.

"I said no and I don't think my boyfriend would like it, "I attempted to fling his hand off but knew it was hopeless.

"but he won't know" they kept moving closer with an ugly smirk "we'll show you a better view" 

"Felix!" I shouted trying to escape their grip but it just became tighter starting to hurt.

"aww look she calling for her boyfriend"

I was really terrified but managed to kick him in the balls causing him to fall to the ground in pain. I started running for my life. I look back to see them right behind. I smash my nose into a familiar chest and groan in pain stumbling back. I look up to find Felix.

"Baby you good?" he asked giggling nervously.

"found you" ~ Felix's eyes widened as he meets the other men's eyes, his smile faded. I scrunched on his shirt causing him to look back and then back and the men again.

"don't hide baby" one of them snickered, I could see Felix's face darken.

"Are they bothering you?" he asked in a deep voice. I nodded in response. 

"your girl was the one flirting with us" They lied.

"baby I swe-"I tried reasoning but that cut me off. 

"you better watch out she might be-"

Felix punched the guy causing him to fall on the ground.

"don't ever talk about her like that," he said eyeing them down.

They got up on their feet and scurried back to where they came from. Felix turned around hugging me tightly making me feel safe in his arms "that's enough for one day," he said stroking my hair.
