T W E N T Y O N E

I got fresh and walked out of the kitchen to find the house filled with guests. As I walked past people I didn't even know where wishing me a happy birthday. I walked int the kitchen to find y/n talking to someone.

"y/n come here" I pulled her with my to the guest room and closed the door.

"Oh Jungkook you still don't know how to tie a tie properly" she sighed fixing it for me. I watched her do it and lean back for a better view "you look amazing Koo-"

"Why are there so many people here?" I cut her off.

"Uhm because it's your birthday" she started laughing.

"Y/n I don't know what's gotten into you bu- "I was interpreted by the door flinging open startling both me and y/n.

"Oh, my baby Jungkook has grown all up" Taehyung rushed in hugging me.

"Hyung let go" I whined struggling to get out of his reach.

"I'll let you guys have some time," she said as she walked out 

"No y/n wai-" but before I could finish she closed the door.

"Is she any better?" Taehyung asked his tone getting deeper. 

"She's acting really weird as soon as my parents came," I said squinting my eyes "she's probably just doing it to tell my parents that were doing good" I shut my eyes and ruffled my hair.

"No, I think she genuinely changing," he said putting his hand around my shoulder leading me outside. Id like to believe that. 

We walked out together to see more people. The rest of the day went pretty fast. I met up with some of my old high school friends, which I don't even know how y/n got contact with. But altogether its probably the most fun I've had in weeks. At about 10 everyone had left including my parents. 

"Jungkook come on" y/n pulled me back inside as soon as we said bye to everyone. she dragged me upstairs into the balcony.

"Let's look at the stars for a while," she said gazing up taking deep breaths.

"Nah I'm tired," I said walking back inside. 

"No, stay here with me for a bit" she whined. I joined her and looked up at the stars. "I have some news to tell you" she finally spoke.

"Y/n my parents have left, you don't need to act anymore" I sighed.

"No, I  koo-" she put her hand on my shoulders.

"Please don't call me that I interrupted and pulled her hand off me. 

"Let's get a divorce," I said breaking the silence 

"Jungkook please" she sighed and her voice was starting to break.

"You were right this relationship isn't working." I waited for her response but to my surprise, she started laughing. I looked at her shocked. 

"I got offer letters from work telling me I could go to Australia," she said shoving the plane tickets in my face "I was going to turn them down because I didn't want to leave you here alone" she turned to the door and walked in "I'm leaving tomorrow" she called as she shut the door. what have I done?

Y/N POV

He's right this relationship was never going to work out. I started looking for my suitcase under the bed when something caught my eye. It was the present I had bought him. Of course, he wouldn't want it. I sighed putting the present into the suitcase. I finished packing in about an hour. Just then Jungkook walked in. 

"Y/n listen i-"

"I don't want to here it Jungkook" I interrupted putting the suitcase on the bed.

"I'm leaving tomorrow morning," I said walking out but was pulled me back.

"At least let me drop you" he pleaded, I nodded and walked out.

I woke up early and so did Jungkook. He dropped me off at the airport and walked me towards the check-in "I got it from here" I said taking the suitcase from him he didn't respond but just looked at me. I walked towards the line to check-in.

y/n!" I heard him call, I turned around hoping he was going to call me back. 

"Did you take your passport?" he asked, I sighed and nodded. I kept walking when I heard him say my name again. He ran up to me this time "be safe" he said panting.

"Ok," I said losing hope again. I walked into the line and watched Jungkook on his phone. The line moved pretty quick and I was called up. I passed my passport up but I lost my breath when I saw who was at the counter.

"Felix!" I shouted, he looked up "next!" he shouted out and looked back at his computer completely ignoring me.

Jungkook POV

I was on my phone when I saw y/n running towards me. I ran up to her "what's wrong?" I asked worried. 

"F-Felix" she stuttered scared "h-he's at the counter." 

"Wait here," I said running towards the counter "can I talk to you for a bit," I said cutting the line, and to my surprise, he agreed. He walked out with me and we went to a corner.

"hey, do you know y/n," I asked dumbly. 

"Who are you of hers," he asked eyeing me down "I'm her.." I stopped not know what to answer with "her husband..."

He sighed deeply "No, I don't remember, sorry" he walked back into the office leaving me there. I walked back to y/n and she was still standing there but crying this time.

"Are you sure that was Felix because-" I felt a sharp sting on my cheek.

"y/n?" I said cupping my cheeks 

"Just because I said Felix was there doesn't mean I want you to go get him for me!" she said crying loudly, you're my husband" she opened her suitcase and threw the present that she got me at my chest "maybe if you opened it none of this would have happened," she said crying, even more, walking away.

I  quickly ripped the wrapping and saw little note with our marriage photo framed under. It said: let's live together happily form now on. i messed up real bad...

I ran up to her y/n wait" I called but she didn't turn around I caught up to her and turned her around and crushed her into my arms "look I'm sorry" I said stroking her hair she started hitting my chest "I love you Kookie" she said which made my heart warm.

"Mhm don't call me that, give me another name" I put my arm around her waist and started walking towards the exit holding her suitcase in the other.

"Uhm what about...muscle pig?" she said smiling looking up at me exposing her bunny teeth.

"M-muscel pig??" I scoffed pinching her cheeks. 

"What about international playboy?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"No" she answered almost immediately "you not an international playboy "

"you're MY playboy," she said grinning at herself blushing.

I don't regret any bit of this .....
