Chapter 5

'No fair!' She laughs. 'You cheated! You didn't even close your eyes properly... I saw you.'

'Hey, hey, what did we say about being a sore loser?'

He grins, quickly kissing her nose, and then running away as she chases him down.

They are currently playing hide and seek, by the lake... one of their favorite spots to meet, because no one ever really goes there, unless there is a function taking place.

Since the night they walked through the streets of Shanghai, they have been pretty much inseparable. When Dylan is done with his work, they usually go watch the sunset by the lake, and play all kinds of silly and fun games. During the day, when he is working, she will pretend to be taking photographs around his general vicinity. They will look and smile at each other discreetly.

Every day she will always carry a pear with her, they are his favourite, and she will give it to him, when nobody is watching, to refresh him, while he is out in the sun, working so hard. She also carries mint water, which she likes to drink. She will pass it to him and they will share it. In addition to the pear and water, she will also bring him random snacks. No one has cared about his well-being this much, since his mother, and Dylan feels touched every single time, when he glimpses her on the horizon, walking towards him, with her little basket of treats.

It's been three weeks since they started dating each other officially, yet secretly. She sleeps in his room every night, and sneaks out, the following day, around 6AM. In order not to seem suspicious, in case she bumps into anyone on her way back to the house, she has left a bag full of gym wear in his quarters, so as to look like she has been out jogging.

They have also indulged more in their passions, since being a couple, becoming each other's muses. She takes many photographs of him, and he sketches her often, whether their outside in their secret hiding places, or in the privacy of his room. their relationship has been a powerful fuel for their creativity. 

Dylan is running fast, and Yue is doing her best to catch up to him. Suddenly, he stops and quickly turns around, running full speed towards her, lifting her up into a great big hug, spinning her around. She is screaming joyously like a little girl, and he can't take his eyes off her, happiness radiating off both of them.

When he finally puts her down, she pretends that she wants to kiss him, but instead she tickles him, and then tackles him to the ground. She is merciless as she continues her tickling assualt on him.

'Waa! Now who is cheating!' Dylan shouts, laughing uncontrollably.

'What did we say about sore losers?'

'You know how ticklish I am? He is still laughing, tears coming out of his eyes.

Yes, she is aware of how ticklish he is. It was beautiful discovery, one lazy Sunday afternoon, when they were lying on his bed. He is obsessed with her cheeks. He loves pulling on her cheeks, as if she were a baby. So, in order to get her revenge, she tickled him. The peal of laughter that came out of his mouth was so delightful, so exuberant, it was like he had transformed into a young boy. It was so adorable, that since then, she does her best to hear it as often as possible.
