Chapter 11 - Discharged

Ming's POV

It's been a few hours since I returned from the heart biopsy and my heart beat is finally returning to normal allowing Kit to stop panicking. He's been scared ever since I got back

Flashback
I just finished the biopsy and am now been wheeled back into my room on a bed since I feel a bit lightheaded and my heart is beating irregularly so the Doctor wants me to not more or stand until it returns to normal.
Kit is surely expecting me to walk back into the room after the test so I hope he doesn't worry too much with the change of transportation and new rules.
I arrive back at my room on the bed lying down holding the side of my neck where the tube was just removed from.
Kit immediately rushes towards the bed looking panicked as soon as he sees me
"Ming are you okay?" He asks obviously bothered by my new condition
"Yeah Kit I'm fine"
"Just a bit lightheaded" I explain so it would ease his feelings
The Doctor goes ahead and re-attaches heart monitor only to hear it beat irregularly which causes the newly calmed down Kit to panic again
"Ming are you sure" he asks
"Yeah I'm fine. My heart beat will return to normal in a few hours."
"Don't worry"I say to calm him again
Flashback ended

The Doctor returns once my heart beat returns to normal to discuss the results of the test
"How were the results" Kit asked looking unsure and scared
"So far it seems like everything is normal" Kit breathe a sigh of relief again
"We will discharge you tomorrow morning after monitor your condition tonight" the doctor states looking directly at me
"I need you to come back after 2 weeks for another test though so be can double check your condition to see if we can reduce the dosage of anti-rejection medicine we are giving you." He tells me with a serious face
"Yes Sir we will be here" Kit replies with determination

The Next Morning, I wake up to the sound of Kit packing away all my belongings into a big for him to carry as we leave. I did offer to carry it as everything inside is mine but he refused to allow me to carry anything heavy as it could affect my condition.
Quickly I want to the toilet to get dressed before we leave the hospital to go to my house where Kit and I will stay for the 2 weeks I am on the extra doses of anti-rejection tablets.
I'm happy I get to see Kit every day but upset that I probably won't be allowed to do anything but be a burden to him
Normally the extra doses can cause certain symptoms such as fever, headache and throwing up.
I also have to consider my nightmares, Kit and I have never slept in the same room before because I do want him to worry when I wake up screaming and trembling whilst asking for help
