Magnus walked into his apartment and was surprised to see alec sitting there looking nervous. "Alec?" he asked causing the other boy's head to spin round and see Magnus.
"Oh, hi" he said. "What are you doing here?" Magnus asked. "Well... um.... everyone is busy at the institute and after seeing something today I just needed to say something to you." Alec responded, looking nervous. "Ok," Magnus said gently, "what is it?"
"Magnus I just wanna thank you."
"Thank me, why?"
"Before I met you I didn't think that I could ever be truly happy, you know? I was just a dumb boy who was in love with someone I knew I could never have-" Magnus cut him off and said, "Stop. You are many things but you are definitely not dumb."
Alec smiled, "Thanks, anyway you basically saved my life. If you hadn't come into my world I don't know if I would have been able to keep going every day. I might not have been here today." Both of them had tears in their eyes. "So I just wanna say thank you."
Magnus smiled and hugged him. "I love you."
"I love you too."
