WILL'S P.O.V

I had been awake for some time, as creepy as it may sound, just watching Nico sleep. He was curled up against my side, his head resting comfortably on my shoulder. I couldn't say it looked he slept dream free, as a few times throughout the night he had began thrashing, a pained expression crossing his face. Whenever that would happen though, I ran my hand through Nico's hair, calming him down as you would child.

I looked over at a silver clock that sat bare on the walls, ticking peacefully, almost lulling me to sleep on several occasions. The clock read ten AM, time to wake Nico if we were to get any breakfast, which I must say I was dying for. I hadn't eaten anything since lunch yesterday, having fallen asleep with Nico still early in the evening.

I planted my lips carefully against Nico's forehead, in a silent attempt to wake him up, it seemed more pleasant than the usual shaking. Soon after he began to stir, moaning quietly, turning over, stretching his body at weird angles. It took a good five minutes for him to properly come around, you could safely say that Nico was not a morning person.

"Will?" He yawned, rubbing his eyes with the back of his hands.
"I'm here." I whispered, sitting up against the head of the bed, taking his palms into my hand. He had penetrated the skin pretty deeply last night, dried blood coating the wound in what I had to say was an ugly fashion.
I wish he could stop, that there was something other than harming himself that could take the pain away. I wanted to help him so bad, and right now, I supposed all I could do was be there for him when things got bad, was there even more I could do? For now though, fixing the wounds would have to suffice.

I lifted Nico up despite his several groans of protest, obviously having not woken up enough to string together a proper sentence. He batted weakly on my shoulder, his eyes not even properly open. I just had to laugh, when Nico was tired, it seemed the realities of life hadn't hit him yet, and it was the one time he acted his age.
I carried him to the bathroom, sitting him on the edge of the bench, whilst he rubbed at his eyes yawning yet again. Yep, defiantly not a morning person.
"Woken up enough sleeping beauty?" I teased, wetting a towel with luke warm water, and as carefully as possible, running it over the wounds in an attempt to clean them. In the corner of my eye I caught him wince, causing me to be even more careful on the cuts.
When the wounds were finally clean of the blood, I took out a couple of regular Band-Aids from a first aid kit I never left my cabin without. It was like a lifeline for a child of Apollo, we were always needed in one way or another, like exhibit A. Slowly, I applied the band-Aids to his palms, before kissing him softly on the cheek.

"Will." He said after some time, a slightly worried expression crossing his face.
"Mmm." I replied, wiping up the water off of the sink, that had been split whilst I cleaned Nico's palms.
"You know how I was talking to Delilah last night?" He said, whist I threw the Band-Aid wrappers out, before turning to face him.
"I do." I replied carefully, worried I might upset him in any way.
"She told me some things, or confirmed my suspicions, as to why she was here." Nico then continued to explain what was going on in the underworld, causing my eyes to widen in shock. That was bad, very bad. As much as I wasn't hades biggest fan, he did a good job containing everything, but this, Hades losing power, this could wreck a lot of havoc, too much havoc even.
"Three guesses as to who the culprit is." I said, looking Nico straight in the eyes to see if he got me.
"Delilah...." He thought for a second, "No... She couldn't have done this I don't think, she wanted to Contain them..... Unless that was a cover up, she does call herself the dark princess." Nico was distant, voicing his thoughts, in a whole other world right now.
"I don't know Will, part of me thinks she's guilty, but then another isn't sure."
I nodded, having reached that conclusion myself, she was after all only 12.
"Should we call a war council?" I asked Nico, wondering if he wanted anyone else to know this. He had a track record for wanting to deal with things himself.
"Yeah... I think we should?" He phrased it like a question, as if awaiting my approval on the answer.
"Gosh death boy, you string this on us so soon after the War, but yeah, a war council is necessary." Nico nodded at that, hopping of the bench before walking over to his bed.

"Turn around." He said, getting out his clothes from a chest at the end of his bed, preparing to get changed. I just had to roll my eyes at that, chuckling as I turned to face the wall. Nico was the most amazing boy ever. One day he's as tough as nails scaring the absolute frick out of anyone who would even dare look his way, then the next, he was telling his boyfriend to turn around whilst the got dressed.

"Done yet!" I called out to him after several minutes of staring at the blank wall.
"No! I still haven't fixed my hair." He called back.
"Well can't I turn around for that?"
"Well yeah... I suppose." I laughed at that, turning around to Nico playing around with his dark hair. Soon after he sheathed his sword, as I slung my bow and arrow over my shoulder.

"Let's go to the big house." I declared, turning to the door.
"Aren't you going to get changed, your clothes will be stinky." He protested, causing me to break down laughing.
"Was that funny?" He asked, sounding somewhat offended.
"Yes death boy, it was." I laughed, practically clutching my stomach.
"I don't see what's so funny about it. Are you going to get changed or not?"
"I'll get changed for you Di- Angelo.
"Good." He declared, pushing past me to open the door. Just before he opened it he turned around and asked, "Is there something wrong with a simple Nico?"
"Lots." I laughed, before he opened the door, as we made our way over to the Apollo cabin.
