WILL'S P.O.V
"Well." Nico said, emitting a large yawn, "I'm sleeping. Hell can wait." He sat down on the ground, closing his eyes tightly.
"You suck at shadow travel!" Delilah said, throwing her arms up. "I swear I did everything, and your the one whose tired."
"His still recovering." I retorted for him, giving Delilah a stare down.
"Oh come on, we need to save daddy, but now we sleeping for poor little Nico." She cooed, running a hand through Nico's hair, as if pretending to be his mother. That ended in a mini verbal fight between Delilah and Nico.
"Come on Delilah, your so much more experienced than me, all you ever do I so shadow travel."
"Please, your the one who shadow travelled around the world with a satyr and praetor."
I tuned out then, not interested in their brawl.I turned around, perhaps to start up a one way conversation with Shane.
He was setting up a camp by himself, his lips pursed.
"Are you alright?" I asked, helping him pull sleeping bags out of their packs.
He gave no a short nod, but he turned his head away slightly.
"Shane." I said quietly, carefully, as I would if I was talking to Nico. "I know this is a lot for you. It's a lot for me too, and I'm experienced. Perhaps it wasn't Nico's best move in bringing you here, but we need you."
"I know." He whispered, sitting on one of the bags that he had pulled out. I hid my shock at his replying.
"I just, I can't remember anything. It's like everything is there, but it out of reach. I don't feel whole. It's like, when you go into a room, but you can't remember why your there. I feel like I'm something different, there's something big I should know. Like When I used my powers the other day, I felt whole, I felt infinite, like that was what I was meant to be doing."
I was ever so surprised at his opening up to me, and it hurt me to see him so lost and pained. I just put a hand on his shoulder, in a comforting manner.
"Shane, you have a whole group of friends here to help you find who you are. Just let us help you, maybe be a little more responsive once in a while." Shane nodded, closing his eyes and looking up at the stars.
"Thank you." He said."Can I just say." He said after some time, a grin playing on his lips. "You and Nico are just plain adorable." I stuck my tongue out at him, standing up and placing my hand out to help him up. He took it, jumping up and walking over with me to Delilah and Nico.
They were in a full on brawl, rolling around on the ground like... Well.... A sister and brother. Except in this case, it appeared the sister was winning.
Shane grinned beside me at the sight. "Now I have to be the responsible sibling." He said.
"Hey guys, maybe don't kill each other, Why don't we let the evil spirits do that." Both of them looked up, shocked expressions painted on their faces.
"Um... Yeah... Don't kill each other." Nico sucked at hiding his surprise.
"The guy can talk!" Delilah said, running up and giving him a hug. "Welcome brother to the land of the talking."
I rolled my eyes at them both. "Let's sleep." I declared. "It's easier to fight the dead when your not tired." Everyone nodded to me, lying down in their own little section of the makeshift camp sight.Hey guys!! What did you think, I decided Shane needed a little personality. Sorry it's been ages since I last updated, with Christmas and all it was Mayhem, I'm at my holiday house now though, I'm using my dad's hotspot to update!
Love you guys!Thanks,
Livs. Xxx
