WILL'S P.O.V

"So let me get this clear boys, you want to go on a quest, without the aid of the oracle, with a girl whom is our main suspect toward the reason." I nodded with Nico.
"That's about right."
"I'm not sure about this boys, your young. I'd feel better if you took an accomplished hero with you. Why don't you take some of the seven?" Chiron asked, looking awfully sceptical toward our idea.
"What am I then? I joined the seven, I made my way through Tatarus alone, I'm more mature than half of them, how am I not an accomplished hero?" Nico sounded pissed, and I didn't blame him, he deserved credit for his accomplishment.
"I'm sorry boy, I suppose you are right. But, Will, are you prepared for such a feat. And what of this Delilah, will she cope?" Chiron was still questioning damn it.
"Sir, did I not prove myself enough during the war, I'm perfectly capable, this is something I really wish to do." I explained.
"And do we really need to ask about Delilah, her talents are amazing and she survived by herself for what five years. We are a perfectly capable group, and, if all goes well and to plan, we should have the protection of hades." I went on, hoping and praying for the directors approval.
"Well, I suppose.... Would it be too much to ask for you to take Mr Jackson ?"
"It would." Nico butted in.
"You let him off on a quest when he was 12, and he was a child of the great prophecy. There are so many others that you have let off on dangerous quests. The seven, they had only known they were demigods for a day or two. Why are we so different?." Such defiance was present in Nico's tone, and I understood, why did Chiron stand here questioning our capabilities.
"No your right boys, I give my approval for you to go on this quest."
"We would have gone anyway." Nico muttered under his breath so Chiron wouldn't hear.

We all stood up exiting the room, and Into the warm outside air. It was then we heard screaming in the distance, slowly coming closer, then two running figures.
"The fuck." Nico said.

NICO'S P.O.V

I had to ask, why was there a massive ghostly presence in the camp, and why was Delilah and Shane running toward us, screaming at the top of their lungs? Gods, my life just kept getting more confusing.
"Nico help!" Delilah screamed, grabbing my arm and swinging behind me, Shane doing the same with Will. It was the I saw it, a freaking small army of about 20 or so ghosts coming our way.

"Delilah, what did you do?" Will asked, not looking our way.
"Why is this suddenly my fault!"
"Well was it?"
"No, as a matter of fact it wasn't!"
"Did the ghost fairy do it?" Will ask, sarcastically.
"It was Shane!" She exclaimed, sticking her tongue out at Will.

"Guys, shut it!" I screamed.
"Delilah, what the fuck is wrong with these spirits, I can't control them?"
"Don't swear at me." She said, pouting slightly. "And I can't control them either. They won't listen."
"Wait! Did you say Shane did this?"
"Yes I did. I was showing him my powers and stuff so he could see what he could lean, he gave it a try, conjured up a freaking army, I tried to get rid of it, he just way there looking like he'd just seem a ghost..." She giggled at herself. "And then we ran screaming."
"Shane." I said slowly, handing Delilah over to Will, who reluctantly took her arm, jerking her away from the ghosts and behind him.
"Sunshine, I'm more fit to fight these ghosts then you, put me in front." She complained, loosening his grip, and conjuring up her own ghosts to fight Shane's.

Quickly, I turned to Shane.
"Look, you need to try and control this. I know things might be all over the place right now, up we need to try and banish them. Just think really hard annoying sending them to the underworld." I explained, feeling I was speaking to an unresponsive rock. Will had given up on his bow, and was now fighting as best he could with daggers, trying to contain the fighting ghosts.
How even did Shane manage to conjure this up, it was virtually impossible for me, what off it for a new demigod. Soon, I felt a sword Pearce my arm, and as I winced I caught sight of the same happening to Delilah, although she took it grinning.
"Oh that's it." I scowled, reaching out my hand and parting the ground, feeling the energy leaving me slowly as the ground cracked, glowing a deep red, as the ghost army slowly fell into the depths of the underworld where it belonged, struggling, yet failing against the forced of nature.

Will ran over as I collapsed to the ground, gritting my teeth with the lack of energy.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Apart from feeling like a just got run over by a drunk driver, never been better." I managed to get out.

We turned around to where Chiron stood, his bow drawn, and yet, he hadn't assisted us in anyway.
"What was that about?" Will asked, a scowl forming on his face. "Why didn't you help?"
"I was ready for if things got out of hand, but you had that handled, it proved that you are ready for your quest." He stated, turning to leave.
"One last thing." I said, and he turned to face me, a questioning look on his face.
"I'm taking Shane."

Yay!! We're finally getting right into it. We might begin the quest next chapter, the action will be better than this, I promise, I wrote this at 1 in the morning when I was bored. XD
