 Chapter 13, Liams POV:

It was hesitant to enter this clearing. But this is where she was. This was our meadow. If she was here then she couldn't fully have given up on me... right? It pained us to see her like this. She was curled up into a ball with her back to us. Her massive frame shudderred as she cried. As much as my instincts urged me to turn tail and haul ass away from this damn field, I knew I had to fix things, besides, it's not like my wolf would let me leave anyway. Taking a deep breath, I walked into the clearing. With my giant stature, I was half way to Aria, who was in the center of the circle, with only a few steps. I lay down about ten feet from her.

"Aria?" I whined "Please don't be like this... she came onto me! I was telling her off, I swear! Baby, please believe me..."

She ignored me.

"Ari, you know your the only one I could love. When I wake up in the morning and your next to me, I'm the happiest man alive. Everyday that I'm with you is the best day on my life,"

She perked her ears up and craned her neck to look back at me over her shoulders.

"When I'm not with you," I continued "I feel as if half of me is missing. I fall asleep at night, scared to death that I'll wake up and you'll be gone. Aria, you're my everything, my better half. When I'm with you, no matter what happened that day, everything is alright. I love you Ari..."

I had poured my heart out to her, now all I could do was wait.  Minutes passed (It felt like hours though) before she spoke.

"I want to believe you, " She said, her voice was shaky, as if she were fighting back tears. "I want to believe you, I really do, but I just don't know if I can."

I sighed, I was about to get up and leave when I felt an unbearable pressure in my head. My wolf howled in anger. A new voice laughed. It was female. That much was obvious, but it wasn't Aria. I looked at her and saw a blank look in her eyes, as if she were looking at something only she could see. Sensing my panic, the female voice spoke,

"Do not be afraid," It said.

Her voice was musical, high and clear.

"I am Cailín. I am Arias wolf spirit."

"What the hell's happening to me?!" I screamed.

The pressure in my head increased, I couldn't move it hurt so bad.

"If you didn't fight it then you wouldn't be in so much pain stupid." another voice spoke.

"Aria!" I exclaimed "What's happening?! Are you doing this?"

She sighed, "You're a bloody moron. Ya know that? If you had paid any attention in your lessons you would remember that some weres have special abilities after they shift,"

All young werewolves have to attend classes before they shift to make sure they're ready for the change and that they know what will happen to their bodies. It's right about then that I really started to wish I hadn't fallen asleep all those times.

"Well here's the thing," She continued, "It's not just me. My entire pack are decedents of Aakela, so we were all blessed with gifts from her. Mine are that I'm psychic, telekinetic, and I can enter the mind of another being at will. It only hurts if they struggle or try to resist it."

My wolf rejoiced at the realization that his mate was present.

Hello Cailín, He said, I am Cróga. Liams spirit guide. I

could feel his lust as he spoke. Cailín laughed, it was a beautiful noise. It sounded like a little bell.

"Greetings Cróga. It is a pleasure to finally meet my mate face-to-face. So few have had this opportunity."

"If you don't mind me asking," I inturupted, "Why are you doing this?"

Aria sighed impatiently. "Just don't fight me." She warned "I'm stronger than you. If you resist me it will hurt much more than necessary."

I inhaled deeply and braced myself. I felt the pressure in my head increase and was suddenly bombarded by images from my past.

"She's searching through my memories!"  I thought privately.

This went on for a few minutes, she paused occasionally, taking a closer look at the first night I saw her, the night she shifted, my anger at her being taken from me, when she claimed me as her mate, the first night we spent together, Robbys warning, and the night I saw her tattoo. Then she found what she was looking for, this morning with Destiny. She felt my anger and my disgust toward Destiny, and more importantly, my love for her and the pain of her leaving me. The pressure subsided asAria returned to her body.

"It's all true." She said breathlessly

"Yes." I said hopefully.

She looked at me with those intoxicating eyes and I gasped. She was surrounded by a dark blue mist, her aura. It signaled the completion of our imprint.  I stared at her in awe, her aura was the color of the night sky, it highlighted her fur, making it look like snow. It was the purest white I'd ever seen! she followed my gaze and looked down at her massive paw. She saw the mist and ran to me. She shifted back and threw her arms around my giant neck.

"Oh Liam!" She sobbed.

I looked her in the eye and spoke slowly and deliberatly asked her,

"Aria Elizabeth Sinclaire, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Without you my life has no meaning. Angel, Will you marry me?"
