The beautiful mistake

We pull over near the boardwalk, we walk over to the ocean and I lean on the fence that is blocking me from jumping into the deepness of it. I look up at the twinkling stars and look down into the ocean as Andrew looks at me.

"Do you come here a lot?" He asks.

"Yes, it's my sweet escape. Just me spilling my silent emotions to the deep ocean," I comment and he lightly smiles.

It starts to rain drizzly; I start to rub against my black lace long sleeves to feel warm. As I look out in the distance of the ocean seeing the buildings lighting up across us, I feel Andrew placing his jacket around my shoulder. I turn to him with a smile and he smiles back at me. I get closer and so does he, I close my eyes, I feel his hand touch my face gently, and then his lips touch mine slowly. The sky starts pouring on us and I remember the number one rule I made with Sammy. "No kissing until marriage!" I think as I open my eyes seeing his are closed and he's still kissing me.

I pull away, "I'm sorry," I say as I start to run away.

"Emma, where are you going?" I hear his voice echo behind me. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to kiss you..." His voice got farther away as I run into the streets.

"How will I call a cab if I left my phone in Andrew's car," I mumble to myself. "And on top of that, I'm wearing his jacket! Just great."

I walk down the side of the empty roads and I see a gas station into the distance. "Finally, I'm getting somewhere," I mumble.

I get to the gas station and I ask for their phone and call a cab.

The rain poured on the window as I watch it in the back seat of the cab. I'm so stupid! I don't have money on me! How did I get carried away and kiss him? How could I? I was so cautious around Sammy but how did I let Andrew through me? I feel my shoulder angel and devil come visible on my shoulders.

"Goodness, but he is a good kisser," Devil me says.

"Oh please be quiet, she wasn't supposed to kiss anyone until after marriage," Angel me says.

"You only live once so she took a risk and made out with a hot dude," Devil me says.

"But she committed a sin," Angel me says politely.

"Yeah, she committed a sin not a crime," Devil me argues.

"It was wrong," Angel argues back.

"No, it wasn't."

"Yes, it was."

"No, it wasn't."

"Yes, it was."

"No."

"Yes."

"Both of you stop it!" I say as they disappear.

"Did you say something?" The driver asks.

"Uh no, I didn't say anything," I say nervously.

I feel around Andrew's jacket pockets and I feel a leather square. "Oh no, I've got his wallet," I mumble.

"We are at your destination," the driver says as he parks in front of the building.

"What's the total?" I ask.

"Twenty-seven dollars."

I open the wallet, there are a bunch of 20 dollar bills in there. I give him two twenties and he gives me the change. I get out of the car and it drives off. I get to the dorm building and I try to open the door but it was locked. "Of course the door is locked!" I mumble loudly to myself. I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn around and guess who it was...Sammy was standing just staring at me as if I'm the one who hurt him. But I didn't, he did. He's eyeing me from head to toe and I'm guessing he noticed Andrew's jacket. He gets closer to me as I back up against the door, his eyes were red and he looked like a mess and I thought he's going for a kiss but he just scanned his card to unlock the door. He backs up and I quickly get inside of the building and rush to my room. What the heck was that?
