I look into your eyes,
To glimpse the world it defies.
It captures my attention,
But the longer I seem to stare,
The more I become aware,
Of your dark intentions.You've slithered all over me,
And you keep me bound.
You've suffocated me so much;
I feel needy when you're not around.I feel your coils constrict,
And your gnarled claws sink.
I don't think I can ever escape,
And I feel like I am at the brink,
On the edge,
On that fine line.
I wished that I had paid attention,
To all of those signs.You attempt to make you mine,
The evil inside you combines
With my fear, as I feel you draw near,
Teeth gnashing,
Claws scratching,
Blood flowing like the sea of Galilee.Why can't you leave me be?
You forced me to change;
You wanted me to carry your name.
Why can't I be me?
I should of defied your earlier,
But now I'm paying the price.
I should have never listened,
To your convoluted advice.I guess this is my lesson learned;
My heart is bruised for all to see
I really thought that you were different;
I thought that you would love me.
I was completely wrong,
You kicked me to the ground.
Now I always feel like I am lost
And I'm not sure I can be found.So, go ahead and abandon me to the elements;
Hoping that I will never find my way.
I don't need you to come back to save me;
In order to trick me to stay.
You gave me the wrong directions,
Bound my feet and threw me to the ground.
You should have secured a stone on me,
And thrown me into the lake to drown.But, I'd dare to think you've made a mistake.
You played with the wrong foolish heart;
My sadness will melt itself down,
And reforge as a blade that will tear you apart.
I gave you my all;
You threw it away,
And now my friend,
It's time I play.It's time for you to pay,
For all of the devious deeds you have done.
I will defy you time and time again,
For I am now someone.
You tried your best,
To reduce me to nothing,
But a crying mess.
Your attempts were futile;
I will not break down like the rest.
