I loved daydreaming,
So I could leave reality.
I pictured my own dream world,
Where I was in control,
Because sometimes the real world is too hard to bear.
In my daydream, I didn't have to pay any toll.In a world where things are great,
Everyone has a happy smiling face.
A world where I can be whatever I want;
A world where people can live as one
Yet, this is just my daydream in the end.
Why can't this be my reality?
I just want to feel alive again.But, I have to face reality,
And understand the fact,
That this picturesque figmentation,
Of my own imagination,
Can't truly exist in this cold and hardened world.
I need to draw strength from myself;
I need to find meaning in my actions,
In order to combat this false reality,
And understand that my interactions,
Are a part of my own fallacy.How I wish it were true,
But I know it isn't,
So, I must toil hard,
In this brutal world around me,
To gain my own recognition.
I'll do everything,
In my strength,
To curb the evils,
of the society,
And come out as a new and better human being.
