Niall Pov--

Today is the day!! I have been away on tour for 4 months now and I have been missing my baby girl like crazy! I have been counting down the days for the last 4 months and today is officially the day. The day I can hold her in my arms. The day I can see her beautiful face in person. The day I can feel her soft touch.

The exciting thing is... It's Christmas!!! She thinks I'm not gonna be home for another few weeks but surprise surprise I am coming home today.

SO HERES THE PLAN. She's at her parents house where tons of family is over. Her family and I talked over Skype a couple weeks ago and planned this out. We were contemplating on having her open a big box and me pop out but that's kind of basic.

So what I'm gonna do is ring the doorbell. She's gonna answer it and when she opens it she'll see me down on one knee. I've been wanting to propose so this all fell right into place.

She lives down the street from her parents house so I park In her driveway so she doesn't see my car. Then I will walk down the street to her parents house, ring in my pocket.

Your Pov---

"Well that's all my presents." I sigh as I sit on the couch with all my family members.

"Why are you sad?" My mother asks from the other couch. "You know why." I sigh and get up. "I'll be in my room." I head up the stairs and into my old room. I'm just glad my parents kept a room here for me even though I moved out 3 years ago.

I close my door and sit on my bed. Niall's been away for so long and it kills me that he's not home for the holidays. It's been too long. I couldn't even see him on his birthday.

I hear the doorbell ring interrupting my thoughts. "Y/N get the door!!" My dad yells from downstairs. Why me? They're the ones who are downstairs.

I give in and head downstairs. It's probably just another family member who got caught up in traffic. I open the door and scream.

I look down and see Niall down on one knee. I cover my mouth and put my hand on my heart. "Niall oh my god." I speak out feeling tears in my eyes.

"Well...?" He asks gesturing the ring.
"You gotta say it doofus." I chuckle. "Oh right. I'm so nervous I forgot to say the damn words. Anyways, baby. It's been an amazing 3 years together and I feel it's time to deal our love. I love you with all my heart so would you do the honor of marrying me?" He asks.

"Of course." I nod. My whole family claps as Niall gets up and takes me in his arms. He swings me around as I cry on his shoulder. Once he sets me down he takes me in this amazing kiss.
