You bump into eachother

I slowly walked down the halls of my new college. I'm a freshman this year and I am not too fond of the building. I twirl my long brown hair as I search for my room number. Room 1-18 should be nearby I just passed 1-16... I keep walking until I hit a dead end. "Shit." I mutter then turn around. I walk up and down the empty hall as all the other kids are in class already so I will most likely be late. It's the first day they shouldn't mind... Right?

Slowly I look down the connecting hallway then sigh. Starts off with room 2-1 so it's not there. Where the f Is this room?!? I turn around but instantly bump into someone dropping all of my book. "Jesus, I'm sorry." I say bending down and picking up my books. The tall figure bends down and helps me gather my things.

"Thanks." I say looking up at him meeting his blue eyes staring back at me.

"No problem." He says with a thick accent. I believe it's Irish but I'm not good with knowing other accents or languages. "Sorry for bumping into you." He says standing back up. I slowly get to my feet and bite my lip. He is gorgeous.

"No it was my fault. No biggie." I shrug. I look to the floor then back to my books.

"You seem lost. Where ya headin?" He asks.

"Room 1-18." I sigh and show him my schedule.

"Exactly where I'm headin. I can't seem to find it either but we can look together." He says scratching his neck.

"Okay." I nod my head then clutch onto my books tighter. It seems strange how I have so many books and he just has a binder.

"Where have ya looked so far?" He asks putting one hand in his pocket.

"Everywhere." I chuckle and roll my eyes.

"Ah. Well we're late as it is so wanna skip?" He asks raising an eyebrow.

"You can't be serious." I say taking a step back.

"I'm kidding." He chuckles and smiles. I smile back and blush. "Now, let's find our room." He says. I nod then he starts walking down the hall. "I never got your name." He says.

"It's Y/N. And you?" I ask looking up at him.

"Niall. And that's a beautiful name you've got." He smiles looking down at me.

"So is yours." I smile and continue walking down the dim hallway. "See here's 1-17 but no sign of 1-18" I say pointing to the door.

"Strange.." He says looking up and down the halls. "Do you have a map?" He asks.

"Yea but I don't understand it." I say handing it to him. He looks at it raising an eyebrow. His lips from a straight line as he examines my map. "Follow me." He says then leads the way. We go down the grey hallway and take a small turn to a "secret" hallway.

"I didn't see this." I chuckle as we walk down the hall.

"Well, we're here." Niall says stopping at the door.

"Thanks. And sorry for bumping into you." I say looking down.

"It's alright. I'm glad I did." He smiles and opens up the door. The "professor." Looks at us raising an eyebrow.

"You two must be Y/N and Niall. It's the first day I understand but please have a seat there's two in the back." He points to the back. I nod and head to the back setting down my books. After a 40 minute class of what's going to go on this year the bell rings. I get up and collect my things.

"Hey wait up." I hear Niall say as I stop at the door. "Where ya headed next?" He asks opening the door back up for me.

"I am going to my dorm room since my next class isn't till 12:00." I say exiting the room with him by my side.

"Lucky. My next class is at 11:45." He sighs as we stand outside the door.

"Do you happen to have your phone on you?" He asks.

"Ummm yea why?" I ask gripping my books tighter. He's just so cute.

"Here let's exchange numbers." He takes out his phone unlocking it then hands it to me. I take mine out of my pocket and unlock my phone. I go into his contacts and add my number.

"Here." I hand him his phone. He smiles then hands me mine. I look at the new contact under "Nialler :)" I smile and put my phone away.

"I'll text you when I get to my dorm." He says.

"Okay." I nod. "See ya around." I say.

"See ya." He smiles then I turn away and head down my hall.

Niall... That's an interesting name.
