HOHO another PSA (comprehendible version)

I FINALLY remembered what I wanted to say. I don't think I got everything in this chapter but I think I got the overall point across. Feel free to ask questions or even argue.

Jack and Ralph's relationship is seen as a friends to enemies thing (or lovers to enemies if you really look at it)

since the part where Jack stole Piggy's glasses and Ralph came to beat him up, I've really been thinking. Ralph said something along the lines of "I would've given you the specs if you asked." I would quote directly from the book but I don't have my book rn

Anyways, as I said in the previous PSA, I thought Ralph would've helped Jack support his tribe, despite the fact that he didn't approve of it.

Ralph would help his friend if he wants to do something and I find that kind of sweet.

Despite the fact that Ralph is mean to piggy in the beginning and is bias about Jack, he's still a good friend on the inside and would always support a friends dream, even if it's a bit morally wrong but they were in an island so

Thanks you for coming to my TedTalk

Hol hol hol up i got the quote

"Jack shouted above the noise.

'You go away, Ralph. You keep to your end. This is my end and my tribe. You leave me alone'

The jeering died away.

'You pinched Piggy's specs,' said Ralph, breathlessly.

'You've got to give them back.'

'Got to? Who says?'

Ralph's temper blazed out.

'I say! You voted for me for Chief. Didn't you hear the conch? You played a dirty trick -- we'd have given you fire if you asked for it--"

The blood was flowing in his cheeks and the bunged-up eye throbbed.

'You could have had fire whenever you wanted. But you didn't. You came up like a thief and stole Piggy's glasses!'"

I forgot to add that the biggest turning point in lotf to me was when Jack left the fire out. Every interaction between Jack and Ralph after that gave off vibes. Ralph never forgave Jack but he still cares about him and he wants the best for him and I find that really sweet, even if Jack likes to block Ralph out.

Another point. Since Ralph got mad at him, he tried to block Ralph out. Its like he wants to do what he wants but he won't let Ralph get involved because he'll get mad. I don't know how to describe what Jack was feeling, I have it in my head but it just can't comprehend it.
