Chapter 8

the next morning we woke up to the smell of fresh food. my eyebrows knit together in confusion, considering Charlie's not much of a cook and Tae has his arms wrapped around my waist from behind. i nudge him awake considering its almost 12 pm 

he groans as his grip around my waist tightens "hey do you smell that?" i asked him and he looked confused for a moment at my question before sniffing the air and nodding even more confused now.

we both got out of bed. i put some pants on and Tae put a shirt on before we walked down stairs to the kitchen hand in hand. we turned the corner with caution before seeing Felix at the table with Charlie with a book in front of them and fresh breakfast on the counter behind them 

"Good morning Charlie and Felix" i said with a bit of confusion in my voice. 

"good morning Mr. and Mrs. Kim! i made breakfast for everyone!" he said with a big smile which just made us smile at his kindness. 

'he put to much butter in the pan for the pancakes' Charlie signed and i laughed "i did not Charlie!!" he said with a fake angry face at his sister since she told his secret

"wait when did you learn sign language?" i asked his curiously "oh we've been studying for the past 4 ish hours" he said. i was honestly shocked, then something popped in my head causing me to laugh a little. Felix looked at me a bit confused 

"remember when i had to teach you sign?" i asked Tae and he nodded with a soft expression "but you weren't a good teacher so i had to go to my mother" he said with a giggle as he wrapped his arms around me.

i looked over my shoulder and gave him a dirty look "i was not a terrible teacher!!" i said now offended and Felix just laughed at us. "I'm glad i have you guys as parents now!" he said with a big smile. that's when me and Tae looked at each other with a certain look that made Felix scared. but that's not what we planned.

"we really didn't think about being your parents, we just thought we'd let you stay here till you got back on your feet since you're almost 20" i voiced my thoughts and he looked relieved. 

"well, Charlie's kinda like my step sis. and that would mean you're my step mom, and step dad. but you're more of a family then my last one. considering ya know, they're both dead now" he looked a bit sad and i couldn't help myself. i unwrapped Tae's arms from my waist and walked over to Felix, embracing him in a motherly hug

"from now on you are apart of this family. you are my son, Charlies brother and Tae's son. no matter who says what, you're my son and Luke never existed" i said pulling away just to smile softly at him, then i saw a tear fall from his eyes, my smile faltered for a moment but it came back and i wiped his tears away.

he quickly embraced me again leaving me a bit shocked but i soon recovered at his next words "i love you guys so much" i smiled again as i hugged him back and soon Tae joined, then Charlie got up from the table and joined us as well.

we had our little family hug for a few minutes before i went up stairs to get dressed, cause i had errands to run. Felix's birthday is in like a week and i already know the perfect present for him!

i pulled on my favorite pair of jeans. then i tried to button them but they wouldn't button. i let out a huff before trying again, Tae, who was in the room gave me a look "what's the matter love?" he asked and i turned to him, with a pout on my face. 

"my favorite jeans don't fit! and i swear they fit before i left!" i said and he let out a giggle before coming and wrapping his arms around my waist as we swayed in front of the mirror "you have the perfect shape, its the pant's loss when they don't fit your amazing body!" he said and honestly it made me feel a lot better about my shape

in the end i just wore a over sized shirt and sweat pants.

i said my goodbyes before heading out the door to my car. i soon arrived at the place where I'd get Felix's present, i got it and left, going to the store next. i got out of my car and started to the back of the store where i'd find the milk.

i lifted the jug but it felt a lot heavier then normal. almost to heavy, to the point i was struggling to carry it, as i was trying to carry it through the store i got really dizzy. i decided to take a break in one of the isles that no one was in. i sat in front of a product i needed as if looking at the item but the dizzy spell wasn't going away.

i held my head in my hands trying to get it to stop, not long after i felt a hand on my shoulder. "hey Miss are you okay?" he asked and i wanted to nod and say I'm fine, but i knew something was wrong cause this is not normal at all.

so i shook my head and the lady crouched next to me."what's the matter?" she asked "I'm so dizzy, i feel like I'm going to faint, and I'm so week i cant carry a thing" i said close to tears at the fear of something being seriously wrong with me

she hummed "okay I'm going to call you an ambulance so they can figure out whats going on okay?" i nodded and she got on the phone right away.

not long after the paramedics showed up and carted me away. i was so out of it i didn't even realize when i was taken out of the store.

when i got to the hospital they gave me food after running tests, i felt a lot better afterwards. i could actually tell what was happening.

i took my phone out of my bag next to be that the nurses brought in. and i called Tae "hey Babe!" he said with a happy tone then i heard Felix shout in the back ground "Yahhh we're on the same team!!" i giggle before responding

"you need to come to the hospital" i said and he sounded confused "okay?" as if asking me to explain. "i almost passed out in the store so I'm at the hospital" 

"WHHAAATT?!?" he said and i laughed. "i feel a lot better now but we're waiting for tests to come back." he hummed as he rounded up the children and was already out the door cause i recognized the familiar noisy door.

"be there in 20" he said as i heard a car door shut.

just then the door to my room opened and the doctor came in, he had a smile on his face as he looked right into my eyes

and soon after him a nurse walked in with a balloon, i couldn't tell what it said cause of the angle so i just looked back at the doctor "so we got the results from the tests back" i hummed when he paused and then he continued 

"and all the tests came back saying you are pregnant, congrats!"  my mouth dropped at his words. it cant be Lukes.. he didn't do anything like that to me this time around.. so that means this is me and Tae's first child together!!

"how far along am i?" i asked and he looked at his charts " it looks like you're almost 4 months. which also means we were able to find out the baby's gender. that's if you wanna know!" he said with a smile as my straight face was replaced with one as well

"i would love to know, but can it wait till my fiancee gets here? he should be here soon!" he nodded with a smile "of course!"

and as if on cue, the love of my life come through the door with our children in tow. i smile at him. he looked at the balloon the nurse was holding that i refused to look at till Tae got here. then he saw it and looked confused.

"why does that balloon say "its a boy"?" he asked and i smiled. "cause Tae I'm pregnant, and for the first time its yours!!" the look on my children's faces was priceless, they were filled with love, happiness, and shock, and same went for my fiancee 

"and we get to see the precious little thing in 5 months" i said with a big smile making this the room of smiles, i mean who wouldn't smile at this wonderful news?
