Abyss

The Awakening

(this is a shout out to my friend Hannah hope you like this chapter)(Be warned that there will be major feels in this chapter)

Felicity's prov

Darkness the only thing I can see. What happened to me? Why can't I move am I dead. Wait I remember where is Marius!?! I need to wake up come on. 

Marius's prov

Waiting that's all I am doing right now. When will she wake up. Like someone heard my thoughts she shot up. I was surprised and yet relieved to see her awake. She looked so scared so I went to her and said "Felicity look at me you're ok." "Thank you for saving me." she said with a voice of an angel. For some reason when ever I heard her smooth voice and saw her eyes I become calm and feel always better. But there was something new I her eyes something I haven't seen before brokenness, sorrow and what I didn't expect pity. Then she straightened herself then I didn't see all the sad things in her eyes anymore like she had placed a wall against her feelings so no one would know what was it in her eyes.

Felicity's prov.

I straightened my back when I saw he was looking at my eyes I didn't want him to see what it was truly like in them. I felt pity  for him and for me. I was falling for him in everything he did. Was it the way that he held my hand and squeezed it when there was some kind of danger? Was it that my heart fluttered whenever he stayed close to me? But the pity was always there knowing that my family will never accept me after the event. They would never allow me to be with Marius. And how he was engaged to someone else. I knew it was hopeless I always try to break myself down so I won't feel any pain when he doesn't love me or we can't be together. But yet there was always a tiny little spark that always kept me wishing and hoping it would happen. I guess it was just love. "Are you okay Felicity?"  Marius asked me with uncertainty. "Everything's all right" I said trying to fight back tears knowing that we were in a island that wasn't our destination, the boat was destroyed,and I am hopelessly in love with an engaged man.

Marius's prov

"Felicity, I know you aren't okay just tell me.Please" I begged her I never wanted to see her so broken and sad. She was always so optimistic and adventurous. " Please Marius leave it be," she said to me with sorrow, then for the first time since I met her I saw her shed a tear."Please tell me." I begged even more. Not wanting to see her like this. " I said leave it alone Marius!"

Felicity's prov.

I saw the hurt in his eyes when I said that I didn't mean to shout at him I just had no one my entire life so I did the only thing that I knew what to do in this kind of situation.... I ran.Not wanting to stop the tears coming down from my eyes not wanting to stop running.Then I heard "Felicity!Please stop!"

Marius's prov 

"Please stop I know you're scared, scared that you won't be able to get home."

"Marius, you don't know anything! You think I am just scared that I won't be able to get home!I am scared that I will never be accepted in my family just because I wanted to become a adventurer, how I might never tell them I am sorry for everything I have done wrong to them, how you might die and never live the life you so wanted."

This was the first time she ever opened up to me. So her optimistic attitude was to die who she really was a broken person. How I finally know the real reason she went on this adventure was to make up for her family to prove to them that she can still be part of their family no matter what.

"Look, Felicity look at me," I went closer to her and put her chin up to see her. I saw sadness in every way that hurt me like daggers.

"Felicity I have known you for such little time and I know that you would do anything for your loved ones.How you would sacrifice everything for them, and I know through everything your family still loves you and I won't die because of you." "Do you promise" she said as I hugged and held her in my arms "I do".
