"Freya," Merlin whispered, enveloping her in a hug for the first time in many, many years. "I have missed you, my love."
"And I, you," Freya said. She then pulled his head down into a chaste kiss before drawing away, albeit regretfully. "Come, they are waiting for you."
Freya took Merlin's hand and led him through the gate, the knights close behind. Before Merlin could take in his surroundings, he found himself being hugged by his mother, then his father, then Gaius, then.... Well, lets just say that he was reunited with a lot of people.
After hours of catching up, Arthur brought Merlin to the "prison" where Morgana was being held.
"Are you ready to listen now?" Arthur asked.
Morgana nodded and motioned for them to sit at the table.
"We have a lot to talk about," Merlin said.
