A/N: I didn't really like how this turned out, I feel like it's weird but still I hope you do like it.

Elphaba was sitting in the library trying, with no success, to read a book. Now that was unusual, since when couldn't she peacefully read a book? Stupid Galinda! with her stupid perfect, blonde, curly hair and stupid gorgeous blue eyes! She couldn't stop thinking about her, not since the kiss, and now she couldn't even concentrate on reading a book. She had never felt anything quite like it before and she was genuinely scared that it was love because, until now, she had kept her feelings hidden by telling herself that she was going to get over it, but if it was love, it was a different story, if it was love it was so much complicated than that.

The raven haired girl stayed in the library for hours, still attempting to read but also thinking. When she was about to leave, the familiar noise of Nessa's chair pulled her out of her thoughts. "So here you are, I've been looking for you for hours!" Elphaba rolled her eyes and answered "You know I need to disappear from the world sometimes, come to my own little world" Nessa looked at her disapprovingly "What have you been up to this past days Elphaba? You seem a little different" In Elphaba the change after not talking to Galinda was less easy to spot, for she was an expert hiding her feelings, but it didn't go unnoticed by her sister, she was, her sister after all " What do you mean Nessie?" She asked slowly "You haven't been yourself lately" Elphaba was surprised, she never thought her sister, or anyone for that matter would be able to perceive the change on her, she worked so hard to build her walls and one certain blonde could completely rip them apart in a matter of minutes. "You shouldn't worry about it, you know me, I always have something to worry about" "the difference is that I usually know how to deal with that something" she thought.

That night Elphaba dared to return to the bedroom earlier than usual. She knew Galinda would still be awake, she needed to talk to her. She crossed the hall nervously and stopped right in front of the door. What was she going to say? she had no idea. She took a deep breath and opened the door.

Galinda was sitting in her bed, painting her nails when she heard the door open and looked up, that might not be her best idea because when she lost concentration on what she was doing she spilled all the bright red nail polish on the light pink bedspread. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you!" Said Elphaba in a rush and ran towards the bathroom. Galinda just looked at her. Elphaba grabbed a towel and poured some water on it to moisten it and then gave it to her friend "Here, use this" Galinda stared at the wet towel and then looked up, back to her friend. "Come on, clean it now or it will stain" the blonde shook her head, stood from her bed and walked in Elphabas's direction, then stopped in front of her for a second before wrapping her arms around the green girl in a tight embrace. "Galinda what are you. . . . " She started to protest, but once she realized what her roommate was doing she hugged her back. "I hate not talking to you, I missed you Elphie" said Galinda in a whiny voice. "I missed you too my sweet" Galinda smiled "We won't ever ignore each other ever again, right?" "No, we're not, I promise"

That night they both went to sleep really late for they spent the night talking and catching up on each other's life. Still none of them dared to bring up the topic that had teared them apart, they were to afraid to loose each other again.

The next day as the two friends walked together to class, Fiyero approached "Hey! There are my two favorite girls! So you are talking again, that is good. You know Elphie? Galinda was all moody this past two weeks" Galinda looked at him furiously and smacked him on the arm with one of her books. "Fiyero!" He rubbed his arm with an evil grin on his face" What? It is the truth" then he leaned and gave a small peck on the lips to his girlfriend "But you know I love you anyways" At the sight of this Elphaba flinched. "Not now Fiyero, I have to get to class" lied Galinda, they still had a lot of time to get to class and Elphaba knew this. "Oh, sorry. Well I'll see you ladies later, bye!" He said and walked away.

"Why did you tell him that? we've still got time" said the taller girl with confusion." Oh really? I didn't notice! How silly of me!" Lied Galinda for the second time today, in reality there was another reason why she hadn't wanted to kiss her own boyfriend, a reason she didn't even want to admit to herself, she didn't want her perfect boyfriend anymore nor she wanted her perfect friends and reputation. She wanted Elphaba.
