Galinda Upland walked through the halls of Shiz university with a determined look on her face. She was looking for someone, they still had time before classes started and she knew this someone wouldn't get out of bed unless there were only two minutes left before class, so right now, she was walking to this someone's room.

When she arrived to the hall were the right room was, she stared looking for number 41. When she found it, she softly knocked and waited for someone to open. It hadn't been more than a minute, when a very sleepy looking Fiyero opened the door. "Galinda? What the hell are you doing here? It's like. . . . Early and stuff . . . . I think" Then he yawned. Galinda smiled widely. "I told her" Fiyero looked confused at her statement. "You told her what?" Galinda rolled her eyes. "I told her I love her" Then she smiled again, almost shining. "Who?" Galinda hit him playfully in the arm. "Elphaba, you useless thing! I told Elphaba how I feel!" He still looked puzzled for a second before his eyes opened wide in realization. "You told her!? What did she say!?" She opened her mouth to answer but she was cut by him again. "Wait a minute, you came here at whatever time it is right now in the morning, to tell me this? You couldn't wait until the first class?" She sighed and hit him again, not so playfully this time. "Oh I'm sorry! I just thought you wouldn't mind if I came here to tell you something so important to me!" She said sarcastically. "Hey, I'm sorry I'm just not a morning person" he said as he grabbed her arm lovingly. "So? How did it go?" She smiled again and started telling him everything.

Elphaba had been walking around Shiz with an idiotic grin plastered on her face all day. Ever since she woke up and realized the events of the previous evening had actually happened, she had been unable to stop smiling, she even spent Dr Dillamond's class daydreaming which caused him questioning her about her odd behavior. She hadn't known what to answer and had embarrassed herself in front of the whole class, still, her good mood prevailed.

At this moment she was walking through the gardens, roaming around the tree that had been the setting of her first kiss. Yes, even though she hadn't told Galinda, the kissed they shared under that tree had been the scenario of her very first kiss and she certainly thought it was worth the wait, it had been wonderfull. 'Oh my, I'm beginning to sound like Galinda's friends talking over boys!' She thought to herself. "When did this happen?" She said out loud. "When did what happen?" A voice said. Elphaba turned around to see Nessa approaching her in her chair. "Nothing Nessie. What are you doing here?" She said nervously, her sister could not find out about this, she would never approve, she would probably tell their father and that would ruin everything. "Well actually, I was looking for you" she said smiling "you were huh? What for?" She said smiling nervously. "Well, today in the morning, Boq said he wanted to go on a date with me!" She said excitedly. Elphaba realized that she had been so nervous, she hadn't realized that her sister was smiling almost as idiotically as she had been the whole day. "Wow! That's great Nessa! What did you say?" She looked down for a bit and then replied. "Ummm, that is what I wanted to talk to you about. I said I'd think about it, I don't know what to do" then she sighed and looked at her sister pleadingly. "Well, I think you should go for it Nessie, you deserve it" she said smiling. "Thanks Elphaba, you are so good to me. Maybe I can get Boq to convince one of his friends to ask you out!" Elphaba's smile fell. "Oh no, no, no, I don't think that's a good idea" she said in a rush faking a smile. "Why not? You should be happy too! Look how happy it's made me to be with Boq!" Elphaba looked away and bit her lip. "But think about the poor boy who would have to go out with me, nobody wants to date a green girl" she said nervously. "Oh, I'm sure there is someone!" Said Nessa. 'There is' thought Elphaba 'Just not who you think' " it's fine Nessie, really I'm perfectly fine on my own" Her sister smiled at her sadly and shrugged. "Oh well then, I should go tell Boq that I accept his offer, see you later Fabala" Then she walked, well rolled, away. Elphaba let out a deep sigh of relief and walked towards the building, her sister couldn't find out about her and Galinda, she had to think of something.

Later that day, a green girl and a blonde sat below their favorite tree, Galinda's head resting on Elphaba's shoulder, watching the sunset. "It's so beautiful" said the smaller in almost a whisper. "So are you" answered Elphaba. 'Oh my god since when do I talk like that? I must be so whipped!' She thought. Galinda giggled and snuggled closer to her girlfriend.

Elphaba had been thinking the whole day for a way to bring up the thing that had happened with her sister earlier but she just couldn't tell her, she was afraid of her response, Galinda didn't know what Nessa was capable of.

"Ummm. . . my sweet?" She said shyly, determined to get it out of her chest. "What is it Elphie?" Said the blonde and looked up to meet her eyes. "I-I ran into my sister earlier today" she said slowly. "She told me Boq asked her out" Galinda's eyes widened. "Really? That is amazing! I'm assuming she said yes?" She asked enthusiastically. "She did Glin, but that beside the point, what I wanted to tell you, is, that after I told her she should accept, she said, maybe, she could get one of Boq's friends to ask me out" her girlfriend stared at her for a few painful moments and then, burst out laughing. "Oh my! She really has got no idea, has she?" She said as she continue to giggle. But after seeing Elphaba wasn't laughing too she got worried. "Why don't you find it funny Elphie? Did you say yes?" She said carefully. Elphaba's eyes widened. "No! No, no, no, no, of course I didn't! That's not what this is about" she said quickly. "Then, what is this about?" She said starting get a bit annoyed. Elphaba took a deep breath. "Well, I obviously told her I didn't want to go out with anyone at the moment, but she kept insisting so. . . . " Galinda cut her off. "So you said yes?" Elphaba rolled her eyes. "I didn't say yes! Okay? It's just I am never like that with Nessa, I always accept everything she gives me, but today I didn't, I think she may suspect something, you know, about us, or about me being gay" she said in a hurry avoiding looking her in the eyes. Galinda sighed in relief, why was Elphaba worrying so much about this? "Is that what this is about?" She asked carefully. "Yes! But you don't get it! She would never approve!" She said placing a hand on the smaller girls shoulder. "And why do you care if she approves or not!?" She said angrily. Sometimes, Galinda thought Elphaba cared too much about what her younger sister thought. "You don't get it! If she doesn't approve, she tells father, and I'm sure, that he will find a way to destroy my happiness, and, I don't think I can afford loosing you" she said, in the verge of tears. "Oh Elphie!" She said as she hugged her girlfriend tight. "It's going to be okay, I promise."
