Prologue.

Have you ever had your privacy ruined?
Secrets and lies rummaged through the news like it wouldn't damage your ego or your self worth?

I met him at college, I didn't know who he was, nor did I intend to find out, at least not at that moment in time. He was the quiet boy, the antisocial boy, but despite everything I wanted to know him. Little did I know what would come with it, the burden that I would carry, the burden that would eventually kill me.

I was nineteen when I fell in love, well what felt like love. But being in love with someone in the spotlight had its demons, it had its dark moments. The sleepless nights, the constant worrying, the dreaded self doubt.

A photograph can be taken from many different angles, a social media post is written from behind a screen, a phone call can tell half of a story. This is the story of how a nineteen year old boy from London turned my life upside down, for better and for worst. This is my story of how the life behind a camera can ruin your life, forever.
