It had been a couple of days since i had last saw Perri. He called me every night to talk about our days, we text each other throughout the day. I was back at work today after a few days off, but my day consisted of meetings and funding grants to keep the studio they rehearsed in open long enough for everyone to have a turn in it. I was nervous for my meeting with the head of the grant's scheme but I knew that I had done all I could to prove that I was the right person for the job, my creativity for the showcase was original, it was my own and no one could take that away from me. I was half way through getting ready when Perri text me. 'Lunch today? x' I smile, he had obviously managed to clear part of his schedule to meet me, but I felt bad saying no, purely because of how busy I was today. 'can't got meetings all day :( x' I text back, automatically feeling bad that I couldn't spend time with him. 'Studio after work? x' He texts back. I sigh, I wasn't trying to avoid him, but I hadn't really left the house since the whole news thing. It wasn't that I was avoiding anything in particular, but I was defiantly avoiding social subjects. The whole Instagram situation hadn't really improved, and I was sure Perri was reading the comments, which meant he probably knew how I was feeling, but I just didn't know how I felt anymore. Reading things that make you feel so degrading, so low wasn't easy. I wanted to be with Perri, but sometimes I wished he was just a normal person, like me. 'I'll try x' I text him back before putting my phone in my bag and walking down the stairs, Stacey was at college for once, and I was going to work, I never thought it would be this way around but it was.

I hum along to the radio, on the way to work, I thought it would be worth taking the car if I was heading to the studio straight from work, it made things easier, plus if I was driving it wasn't like people would realize who I was. When I get to work I walk in and go straight to the meeting rooms upstairs, Dale the events manager was already here. "Hey" I say, setting my bag down by a chair and smiling at him. "Hey, great job over the weekend, it was an amazing showcase, one of the best yet" He beamed at me, I was so proud of how it had gone, it all felt a bit like a dream. "How's Perri?" He smirks. Great. First question of the day and its about Perri. "His fine" I mumble, looking down at my feet. "It's great publicity for the company" He smiles. Yeah of course this was about a boost for the company, not the fact I actually liked him. "So, when's the meeting starting?" I ask, sitting down in the chair properly. "Well, Chris and Emma will be here shortly, but Hayden's in the studio downstairs, his asked for your help on an audition piece so we've excused you from the meeting" He states, pouring a cup of coffee. I look up at him, confused as to why he wanted me to help him. "You mean you want me to help him instead of actual work?" I ask, Dale nods his head. "Yeah, I feel its more your suit this time instead of Emma's once you've made progress you might as well head home, we can email you the details of everything" He smiles. Was this seriously going to be a wasted trip to work?

I stand up and take my things down to the basement, its what we was using as a studio. I spot Hayden on the other side of the room, dancing around to Harry Styles. I feel like Hayden connected with the lyrics of Harry's songs because he always chose Harry to dance to. I watch Hayden for a moment move to the music, he wasn't as connected as what Perri was but it was still moving, still emotional. I do a slight cough and Hayden looks up, pausing the music and smiling at me. "Hey" I whisper, pulling my phone out of my bag, I should probably check it. "Your advice was on point during the run up to showcase, and I was just wondering if you'd help me, I like it when you help me" He states smiling. Me and Hayden had developed a friendship of sorts, I liked helping his dance, I liked watching him but he didn't compare to the feelings I felt when I watched Perri. "I'm not even a dance teacher though" I chuckle, walking over to him. I take a quick glance at my phone. 'have a good day babe x' I smile at Perri's text. "Right, so show me the whole thing you have, we will see what we can rustle up" I state as I start the music for Hayden and watch him lose himself in the music.
