**Danielle's POV**

I was walking down the street to meet  Hayes in the park for a date. I was walking past a cute little shop when two hands grabbed my waist and pulled me into an ally

I tried to scream but his hand was covering my mouth. He pulled me into a house and threw me down on the couch

He took off his mask and I saw his features clearly...it was the guy who raped me last year

"Please, please don't hurt me again" I pleaded

"Oh sweetie...I'm not going to hurt you, I'm going to do way worse" he said in a creepy voice

He took off all his clothes and did the same with me

I screamed hoping someone would hear me even though I knew it wasn't likely

"DANIELLE! DANIELLE!" I heard someone faintly say

Then I woke up. It was all just a dream. I saw Hayes sitting up looking really worried

"You were screaming in your sleep so I was trying to wake you up" he said

"I'm sorry I woke you up, I just had a nightmare" I said shaking

He moved closer to me and pulled me into his chest while I sobbed

"You don't need to apologize" he said stroking my hair "do you want to talk about it?"

"It was him Hayes, it was him" I cried

"Who?" Hayes questioned

"The guy who raped me" I said barely above a whisper

"Oh god, Danielle! I'm so sorry" he said pulling me closer "don't worry, I won't let anything like that happen to you again"

"Thank you Hayes, that means a lot to me" I said kissing his cheek

"No problem" he said rolling back over like he was going back to bed

"Hayes?" I asked

"Ya"

"Can you stay up until I fall back asleep?" I asked

"Of course I can, beautiful"

I rolled over onto my stomach and slowly drifted off to sleep

**next morning**

**Hayes' POV**

I woke up with Danielle snuggled into my chest with tear stains on her cheek

I got out of bed,trying not to wake her up, and went to the bathroom to get ready

About 20 minutes later I came out wearing an OBEY t-shirt, khaki shorts, and black vans

I looked over and saw Danielle still sleeping so I went to wake her up

"Danielle" I said shaking her

She didn't move

"Danielle" I said a little louder

Still no movement, I swear this girl sleeps like the dead

"DANIELLE!" I shouted

Finally she woke up

"You have to get ready for Magcon" I said kissing her forehead

She groans and walks to the bathroom

She comes out about an hour and a half later wearing denim cut offs, a white crop top that says 'Fierce' on it and black vans that match mine. She also had her hair in waves and a minimal amount of makeup
