**Hayes' POV**

I couldn't fall asleep so I was playing flappy bird on my phone when someone walked in

They laid down on the other bed and I heard quiet sobs, I looked over and saw that it was Danie

I got up and went to sit on the bed

"Danie?" I said quietly

**Danie's POV**

I stormed away from Shawn and sprinted back to the hotel while sobs escaped my lips

I got back up to the room and quietly opened the door so I wouldn't wake Danielle and Hayes

I walked over to my bed and quietly sobbed into my pillow when I felt the bed sink beside me

"Danie?" It was Hayes

I turned and looked at him with my eyes puffy and red and he pulled me into his strong arms as I cried into his chest

"What happened?" He asks as I calm down

"Shawn happened" I said barely above a whisper

"I need more information than that if you want me to help" he chuckled

"We were having fun at the carnival when he started talking to this girl and then he kissed her on the cheek and started flirting with her right in front of me!" I cried

He pulled me into another hug and rubbed my back trying to calm me down

I was taking deep breaths and eventually calmed down

"You good?" He asks

I nod and he kissed my forehead

"Night"

"Night Hayes"

**next day**

**still Danie's POV**

I woke up at about 7 and went into the bathroom to take a shower

I got out and blow dried my hair and put it in a messy pony. I changed into my black soccer shorts, one of my old tournament shirts that I cut into a muscle t, and my running shoes

I decided to grab my soccer ball and go to the nearby park to get my mind off Shawn, soccer always calms me down

I walked to the park and started dribbling around when I saw this cute guy

Stop Danie! You're hear to get over Shawn NOT to check out cute guys! I thought to myself

I decided to start shooting and I was doing pretty good until I see that boy again

I decided that I wanted to talk to him 'cause he kept looking at me and my curiosity was getting the better of me

I overshoot the ball really bad in his direction and run over there

"Hey, sorry about that. I'm Danie by the way" I said

"Hey Danie, I'm Zach" he responds

"So, what brings you to the park today?" I asked while I mentally face palmed at my stupid question

"Well I was bored so I decided to come here. What about you?"

"I had a bad fight with my boyfriend last night and soccer usually relaxes me" I said sighing

"If I may ask, why were you guys fighting?"

"We were on a date and he kissed her cheek and started flirting with her right in front of me"

"I for one would never treat a pretty face like that" he says winking

"Thanks" I blushed

"Wanna go to Starbucks and chat more?" He asks

"Sure" I replied

He reached out his hand and I took it
