**Danielle's POV**

I woke up snuggled into Hayes' chest....he looked so cute when he was sleeping

I turned over and grabbed my phone off the table. I turned it on and saw a whole bunch of Twitter notifications

I decided to open them 'cause I didn't really have anything better to do

As I scrolled through the tweets they just got worse and worse. Here's what just a few of them said:

(A/N: these are all fake names...not directed towards anyone)

@staceyxoxo: why would he hang out with sluts like that! @daniellegilinsky @daniellepeterson

@lindseyluv: they're so fat and ugly how does @hayesgrier look at them without puking @daniellepeterson @daniellegilinsky

@theloveofyourlife: what whores! Shes probably only using him for his fame...they don't deserve him @daniellepeterson @daniellegilinsky

That's not even the worst of them. I don't know what I've done to deserve this! I haven't even met any of these people

I started crying softly into the pillow so I wouldn't wake anyone up...well that was unsuccessful

"Danielle? Are u ok?" I heard Danie ask

I looked at her with tear stained cheeks and she squirmed out of Hayes' grip

"What happened?" She asked

I didn't say anything, I just showed her my phone

She pulled me out of Hayes' arms and we went into the hallway

She scrolled through her phone and then handed it to me

It was more tweets

@magconforlife: careful @hayesgrier we don't want you to get infect with whatever disease they have

This was taking it to far...they can hate on me all they want but don't bring my best friend into this

**Hayes' POV**

I woke up at about 8:30 and couldn't find Danielle or Danie. I tried calling and texting them both but they wouldn't answer

I threw on a shirt, grabbed the room key, and walked into hallway

I saw them both sitting on the ground looking at their phone with tears in their eyes

I walked over and sat in front of them

"What's up?" I asked

"What...oh um...nothing" Danielle replies shakily

"Really...I highly doubt you, of all people, are crying over nothing. Now tell me what happened" I said more stern

"I said nothing Hayes, just drop" Danielle snapped

"Fine" I mumbled "I'm gonna go get some breakfast"

And with that I walked downstairs trying to figure out what was going on

There was clearly something she was hiding from me...but what?

**Danielle's POV**

"I'm gonna go get some breakfast with Hayes" Danie says "want anything?"

"Nah...I'm just gonna hang out in the room, maybe talk to Jack"

"K" she says and squeezes my arm

After she left I walked back into the hotel room and laid on my bed

I turned on Finding Nemo an tried to forget everything but I just couldn't...more and more tweets were blowing up my phone making everything worse

I got out of bed and went to the bathroom

I grabbed a wash rag and soaked it with cold water and wiped my tear stained face with it

I heard a knock at the door and I slowly went to open it knowing exactly who would be on the other side

"Can I come in?" Hayes asks when I open the door

I step to the side signaling for him to come in

"Danie told me what happened...can I see your phone" I handed him phone so he could see the tweets

After a few minutes he put the phone down and gave me a big hug

"I'm so sorry" he whispers in my ear while rubbing my back "I'll make sure this stops or at least dies down"

"Thanks Hayes" I say into his chest

"You have like a billion knots in your back! Have you ever had a message?" He asks

"No" I giggle

"Sit on the bed with your back to me" he commands

I did what he said and he started to rub my back and shoulders

After like 15 minutes he stopped and spun me around so I was facing him

"Thanks" I said

"Anything for my princess" he says kissing my cheek

I death glares him "don't call me that" I snap

"I just did...what are you gonna do?" He asks cockily

"Go sleep somewhere else" I command turning my back to him

"Nooooooo...babe I'm sowwy pwease let me stay" he begs

"Nope" I say with my back still turned

"Fine" I hear him walk away and then the door closes

I turn around and see him standing in the doorway with a smirk on his face

"Gotcha" he chuckles

"Asshole" I say under my breath

He smiles cheekily and sits down next to me

"Let's watch a movie" he says

"Fine...you pick"

"Let's watch...Dumb and Dumber" he says chuckling

"Oh. My. Gawd! I love that movie" I squeal

He laughs and turns it on while putting his arms around

"You're so cute" he says looking at me

I cover my face with my hands because I looked like a tomato

He grabs them and pulls them away so he can kiss my cheek

We continued to watch the movie until we both fell asleep
