Four POV
I am watching cheerleading tryouts because I have to take the brat known as my girlfriend home. Lauren basically is Captain because she's popular, but let's face it she sucks at this. You know the little devil and the little angle that sit on your shoulders? That's what I'm feeling right now. I see Tris doing amazing during tryouts and the tiny angle is yelling at me for paying attention to her because I hate her, but then that intriguing devil is telling me how sweet she is, how when she smiles my stomach fills with warmth, how athletic she is, how when her hair is in the sun it....FOUR STOP IT! Ugh, you dumb devil. I shake my head and try to watch but Lauren but it basically hurts my eyes so I go in the building.
I walk into the gym to get my stuff when I see the new boy Luke grabbing his gym bag talking to a group of boys. I am about to continue on when I decide to just stay put and watch. He for some reason has already made a bunch of friends and it's bugging the heck out of me. Plus probably all of the single and non-single girls have huge crushes on him. What is so special about the guy? Luke and the other boys start walking this way so I duck behind the ball bucket. When they leave I quietly follow.
One of the boys starts starts pointing at Tris who I just realized Luke was staring at. The boy nudges Luke and Luke turns tomato red.
"You totally have a crush on her." The boy says. Luke just scratches behind his head in embarrassment. No no no no no, I think. Luke cannot have a crush on Tris! Why do I care though? I don't, I don't care at all.
When tryouts are over Tris instantly walks over to Luke who is smiling at her. For some dumb reason they are laughing there heads off and Luke kisses her cheek. I heat up with anger. That's when a stupid brunette named Lauren comes up to me and snakes her arms around my waist. I usually like it but today it feels uncomfortable. She leans up and kisses me and that's when I loose it. Lauren is like the evil step sister compared to Tris being Cinderella. I push her off me and storm over to my car.
Tris POV
I flop down on my bead and sigh. I try but I can't stop smiling. He kissed my check! We were just talking and out of the blue Luke just kissed my check! And sense I can't stop smiling the only left to do is.....text Christina!
T: Hi girl! Guess what?!?!?!?!
C: You ate a squirrel!
T: No you idiot!
C: Ok that was harsh but what, what is
It? :)
T: Luke kissed me on the cheek.
C: OMG OMG OMG I was so happy until you said on the cheek
T: What do you mean? :_(
C: I am saying that it's obvious you really like him, so go for it! You guys would be the cutest couple in the whole wide world!!!!!!
T: Uh uh, Luke would never like me in that way!
C: OMG you are seriously stupid! He obviously likes you.
T: You're lying!
C: Now you're just ticking me off! Duh I'm not lying.
T: You know what I might just go for it.
C: Yay go Trissy Poo
T: :( don't call me that
C: Fine. Bye girly!
T: Bye :p
