Tris POV
"RIIIIINNNNNNGGG!" We leave 4th period the next day and everyone rushes to the lunchroom. The tryout results are going to be posted on the cafeteria doors, yay. I take my sweet time walking over there. As I pull up everyone is looking at me, that or pointing at me and whispering to there friend next to them. I duck my head down and head to the board. The large white posters are plastered everywhere. I go right to the Track one, that's the only one I actually care about.

1) Captain: Tris Prior

Oh. My. God. I'm Captain! I can't wait, truth to be told I love being in charge. But no one really cares about track so I wonder what the big deal is. I check out gymnastics and see that I made the team as well as Christina and Shauna as captain. But still that can't be what everyone cares about, so I drag my self over to the cheer list. I'm Captain. Ugh, no! Now everyone is going to know me and popular kids will either throw themselves at me or despise me. Lauren is going to hate me.

Ugh I really don't want to deal with this! I shove my way through the crowd and run out of the school doors. I than start into a quick walk over to the court yard. Once I get there I turn the corner and I see Luke leaning on the nearest bench. He looks up and smiles at me and I sigh and go sit next to him.

"Bad Day?" He asks

"Well, more like a confusing one."I reply

"Did you not make the team? I thought for sure you would." He asks.

"Not only did I make the team but I bumped Lauren out of Captains spot"

"Well that makes the both of us because I bumped Four out of Captain spot too."

"Oh god, I mean Lauren is going to make my life miserable, but Four, he is going to kill you."

"Yep" he leans his head back and laughs. "I'm dead."
