Hello,this is Min JaeSung of Bangtan.

I have written this letter carefully in order not to upset anyone.I want to address the events that occured within the past 48 hours.

I know the news must have upsetted a lot of you,but that was never my intention.Today I would like to talk to you not as a friend,but as an artist.

Yesterday,me and a group of friends headed out to the beach.Out of the four that went,I only knew three of them.The fourth person had already displayed rudeness towards me and one of my friends within the twenty minutes I had arrived.As the day went on,the fourth person had continued to make nasty remarks at us and even threatened to physically hurt my friend.As much as I hated it,there wasn’t much that I could do about it due to the fear of furthering the damage.She first posted a picture of me laughing with on of my friends and I think that’s when everything started.Regarding the pictures of me and my friend sleeping in bed together,our other two friends were also on the bed.Shortly after we woke up and realized what happened,I reported to the office to explain everything to the board of directors.They will send an article about the situation along with the video evidence that was recorded on my friend’s camera.

Now,on a more serious note I want to talk about how the fandom reacted.

While I am proud of the ones who acted like adults and handed the situation well and responsibly,the ones who continued to defame me have disappointed me greatly,especially if your user mentioned my group name and the name of my members.

I felt hurt and helpless when I saw people who called themselves 'our fans' had contributed to the hate.

Due to the mental damage that these types of people have caused me,the company and I came to the conclusion that consequences have to be handed out.

Our lawyers will try and reach out to each one of the haters and your consequence will be discussed then.

Please remember that I am also human,I have a beating heart.I hurt and feel emotions just like any ordinary human.I am someone's daughter,someone's important person.

I advocate for love,respect,care and positivity,and fans who continue to spread hate and negatively are no fans of mine.

I hope you spend your summer well,and let me enjoy my well deserved break quietly with my friends and family.
