The movie continued playing as Sung Hoon and Max fell asleep,whatever activities they had done throughout the day being evident as they snored.JaeSung watched the movie,her eyes stuck on the screen but her mind was elsewhere.She had pulled her legs to her chest,hugging her knees as Mamura confessed his feelings for Suzume.She smiled lightly,watching the movie with fondness as Mamura and Nekota visit Suzume at her home town.

She suddenly looked away from the tv,turning to look at Alex.He was looking at the ceiling,lost in his own thoughts as JaeSung took in every detail of his face.His nose was slightly crooked from when he broke it when he was five.He was attractive,handsome even.He still has his boyish charms though,the way he smiles after teasing Sunni,the way his nose scrunches when something displeases him and the way his jaw ticks when someone annoys him.He loved laying his head on her lap and let her run her fingers through his hair,a dazed smile on his lips.

Feeling eyes on him,Alex turned his head,catching JaeSung who looked away,a dust of red on her cheeks.He adjusted himself so he was laying on his side,watching JaeSung as she continued watching the movie.She was still as beautiful as she was when he finally stopped seeing her as a friend,and sometimes he regrets the night he realized it.She was the only one that made his heart feel completely at home,like no danger can come to him as long as she was by his side.Sometimes he finds himself on the group’s twitter,hoping to see a picture of her just to know if she was doing fine.

When they broke up he wondered how he would be able to face the media.The toxic part of the fanbase was vicious,openly expressing their hatred for him and he would only laugh because god,he hated himself more than they hated him.They slandered his name,tainting his name with false rumors that his company kept under wraps.He only snapped once when they brought Sunni into the situation,he let them slander his name all they wanted but the moment Sunni’s name was mentioned,he lost it.He cursed the fans that dared to stain his sister’s name,asking if that’s how their parents raised them,and if they didn’t know how to respect a person,nevertheless a two year old.

He disappeared shortly after that,no one was able to reach him for a few days causing people to panic.His company announced his disappearance after the third day, and a sick part of him enjoyed the way the ones who slandered him panicked as they tried to take back their comments,but the damages were done and the charges were pressed.He didn’t let them know where he was until after the fifth day,

Once everything died down,the job opportunities started pouring in and he found himself in the spotlight in a span of four months after the break up..He went from minor roles to important side characters to a second male lead in a span of a few months. 

No one besides the company,Max,Lena and Sung Hoon truly knew how he felt during that time.All the negativity was bringing him down but he would pick himself every time because he was not one to be knocked down without a fight.

He turned away from JaeSung.He stood up and walked to the balcony,closing the sliding door behind him.He leaned against the railing,letting the warm summer wind ruffle his hair as he watched the people still wandering around.

His finger twitched and he sighed,forcing himself to grip the rail.He had recently picked up the nasty habit of smoking and he was trying to quit.It wasn't easy and he had to physically turn away from the cigarettes when he went to the convenience store.

He was so deep in his thoughts that he didn't notice that JaeSung had followed after him.She smiled softly and Minkai felt his breath hitch as she walked over to him and stood near him,her arm brushing up against his.His heart hammered in his chest as JaeSung looked up at the sky.

"I love you!"He blurted out,immediately covering his mouth and squatting down,cursing himself as embarrassment washed over him.

He heard JaeSung giggle lightly and it sounded like a beautiful melody to him.He felt her hands on his wrist and slowly pulled them away from his eyes.Her lips were curled up into a soft smile and her eyes twinkled in the 4am moonlight.

"I love you too."She said,her voice just high above a small whisper."I love your smile,"She ran a finger under his lips."I love your small freckles."Her fingers trailed up to his cheeks,"I love when your eyes brighten when you talk about what you love."Her thumb rested under his eye."I love how responsible and caring you are.I love everything about you,good and bad."

It seemed like a dream to him.He dreamt and imagined how it would feel like to have her in his arms again,but during that time it was exactly that; a fragment of a dream,but now she was so close to him.He can see her scars from when they were younger,when she had slipped and fell down the hill,scratching her face up.Her eyes were the never changing,beautiful brown,a mix of dark earth and golden honey.Her lips were still chapped and he remembered how Lena would always nag at her for not wearing chapstick.

He wanted to kiss,take her lips in his.He wanted to run his hands all over her body,he wanted to show her that  loves her and only her.That she will always be his first choice,that no girl will ever be anything like her.

Instead he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a hug.He heard her gasp and he sighed,tightening his grip on her.She lightly giggled and reciprocated his hug,letting her arms lay loosely around his waist.

He fell back slightly,so he was sitting down properly and let JaeSung sit comfortably on his lap.Her cheeks were flushed red and she was biting her bottom lip lightly.

"I want to be yours again."He said softly and JaeSung leaned her forehead against his.

"Then what's stopping you?"She responded,not giving him a chance to respond as she dipped her head and let her lips connect with his.

Minkai sighed into the kiss,following JaeSung's lead as she ran her fingernails down his scalp,causing shivers to run down his back.She pulled away and he left little kisses on her neck,humming lightly when JaeSung giggled,lightly jerking away.

"I know this is going fast,but I don't think I can be with anyone or imagine myself with anyone other than you,Min JaeSung,so let me be your boyfriend again."He said,looking in JaeSung's eyes."I'll make sure to make you laugh,cry and everything."

JaeSung smiled,dipping in for another kiss.

"It was always us against the world,remember?"She asked,referencing to an old promise the two had made when they were younger. 

MinKai only smiled,pulling JaeSung closer to him as he laid down,letting JaeSung lay her head on his chest as they caught up with everything.

Love comes and goes,but true love will always stay
