JaeSung didn't forget Jungkook's birthday.She texted him a message at exactly 12 with a long paragraph that took her five minutes to write.JungKook had called her a few minutes later,crying as he thanked her.

"Oppa,you're gonna make me cry."JaeSung said,looking away from the camera.They had switched from phone call to video call a few minutes into their call.

"JaeSung-ah,remember when we were younger?It was a few weeks after we were told that we were going to debut?"JaeSung nodded.

"When we snuck up to the roof or when we hid in the practice?"

Jungkook laughed,"The practice room.It was just the two of us and we had the mirror lights on."

JaeSung suddenly started crying."Was it when we promised to get to the top together?"

"Yeah,I never saw you cry that much."Jungkook said,"Now that I think of it,you didn't cry much during our training time."

"It was what it was,"JaeSung said and Jungkook laughed as he stared at her through the camera.

"I remember this one time when we were done with practice but we had to wait at the practice room for a while and you just knocked out on the floor."

"I was always falling asleep in the practice room."JaeSung said,pulling her knees up to her chest.

"Oppa,thank you for existing."JaeSung said and Jungkook felt himself tear up.JaeSung was as affectionate as they came so this wasn't something new,but it still struck a chord in him.

"Ya,what are you saying?"Jungkook said,his voice cracking as JaeSung smiled softly at him.

"I hope you spend today with the people you love and you spend today well with your family."JaeSung smiled widely,"Heaven knows that your mom has been waiting to hold you in her arms again."

"Sungie,don't get in trouble anymore.I feel like I'm getting older everytime I see your name pop up on the news."JungKook scolded and JaeSung smiled and nodded.

"Bye oppa,I'll see you when we all get back."

"Bye JaeSungie,be good while we get back okay?"

"Okay oppa."
