Chapter 02

"hey LI'L sis!" sigaw ng aking pagkaingay ingay na kapatid. And does he really have to emphasize that word?!

i opened my eyes and sat on my bed. What a weird dream, wait— what was that dream about again? I can't remember...

"sis! where gonna be late! wake up wake up wake up wake up wake up wake-"

"I'm up!!" nakalock kasi yung pintuan kaya hindi niya makita na KANINA pa ako gising.

pshhh, bakla ba siya? ang daldal, baka naman may mga lalaki lang talagang madaldal at... maingay?

siguro hindi narin maiiwasan dahil may makita lang siyang opportunity ay kinukulit na ako. And i admit, i always get angry because i was super serious about everything and also a short-tempered girl.

We're totally opposite, though physically were identical. And yes, we're twins. He is my boy version while I'm his girl version. Nauna siyang lumabas kaya naman siya ang panganay, and i hate it when he uses it as a reason to order me around.

But people don't really see us as identical twins, maybe because of the fact that i am wearing glasses. My glasses aren't for decoration, malabo lang talaga ang mga mata ko.

Wala akong sense of fashion while my brother is always into trends. He always follows in social life while i like being alone. I like being alone dahil nakakaramdam ako ng kapayapaan, walang special na nangyayari kasi kapag ako lang magisa at walang nanggugulo.

"you've got exactly thirty minutes to prepare" sabi niya sabay alis ng kwarto ko. So i have no choice but to prepare in thirty minutes because if im late even for a second i know he'll leave me behind. Siya lang naman kasi ang pinayagang mag kotse and even if pinayagan ako hindi naman ako magpapabili. Ayos narin yung may driver ka araw araw *wink*.

after preparing for school i went to the garage and saw him inside the car starting the engines. Kaya naman dali dali akong pumasok sa loob. Phew! muntikan na yun.

"hmph! you're so mean" i said then pouted.

"eww sis, stop doing that, you look gross" sabi niya sabay tawa ng pagkalakas lakas. Nang kumalma na siya ay nagdrive na siya, and goodness! ang bilis niya magpatakbo!

"will you slow down?!" sigaw ko habang nakahawak sa seatbelt ko.

"it's better this way" pa cool niyang sabi, pshh

"pano pag hinuli tayo ng pulis? ha?"

"will you calm down?"

"i can't!"

"..."

After a minute we've arrived, and here, my school life begins.

"sis, I won't be driving you home later, you'd better just call the driver" sabi niya sabay alis sa kotse.

Pshh, it's just probably another party of one of his friends. I have always been curious, bakit ba lahat nalang yata ng kabataan which is teenagers ay gusto nalang magparty ng walang dahilan o okasyon?

(ao: ano ka ba? kung magsalita parang matanda)

As my mind roam somewhere i unconsciously started walking to where my room was. It was very evident that i was absent-minded.

"look what the cat brought in" sabi ng isang pamilyar na boses na nagpabalik sa akin sa katinuan.

As usual hindi maiiwasan ang mga bullies. Lalo na sa isang katulad ko na nabigyan ng titolo bilang school nerd. Pshhh, how i wish they just gave it to themselves.

I didn't bother to have a small chitchat with him and started walking to where my classroom were. But as i was passing him he suddenly grabbed my arm and pulled me to the ground. Then there was that...

*splashh*

It was a dozen of eggs that poured on me. That was a very typical way to bully someone. I was now smelling like a rotten meat? i don't know what kind of food it is but I'm sure it smells rotten.

Good thing i always bring new uniforms with me. I had read of this scene many times in novels. I always read novels when i had free time, just so you know.

"you sure are weird" he said as he was sitting not very close to where i was, maybe because of the fact that i was emitting a bad odor.

"you won't cry for help?" tanong niya pa as though he was bored.

"why would i? no one would even bother" sabi ko sabay tayo at lakad paalis.

"you don't know the word fun do you?" sabi niya sabay alis kasama ang mga, anong tawag sa kanila? alipores ba? don't know what that means but i guess yun na nga.

I just continued walking but my destination now wasn't the classroom anymore. I need to get rid of this odor, i hate this smell. I think I'm gonna puke at any moment.
