Kassie and Jackie carried the heavy boxes into the hall in the monster temple, chatting and laughing. But when they stopped in their tracks when they spotted Kelly, sitting on the floor, her eyes red from crying.

Jackie dropped the boxes and ran over to Kelly, Kassie one step behind her. Jackie kneeled down beside Kelly.

"What's wrong Kelly?" Jackie asked, putting her arm around Kelly.

Kelly sniffed and gathered up her hair to tie it back up. She wiped her face and stood up.

"I did something unacceptable," was all she said before running down the hallway.

Jackie and Kassie shared a look.

"Where's Star?" Kassie asked as she stood up to observe the party room.

"I dunno... maybe she's back home. Give her call, Kas,"

Kassie pulled out her phone and called Star.

Star Butterfly sat on her bed, her phone ringing beside her. She picked it up and declined the call. Her tears wear falling down like the rain. Star put her head in her knees and cried. A million thoughts rang through her mind. She was defeated. Earth people and Mewmans now hardly get along, and her boyfriend cheated on her. Star cried harder as she thought about Marco. Her heart shattered into a million pieces. I give up, she thought.

Marco was outside Star's door, listening to her cry. Tears well up in the corners of his eyes and they rolled down his face. This hurt terribly, seeing his best friend, who was also his girlfriend, cry. He had to sort things out with Star. Marco opened Star's door.

"Star...?" He said quietly. Star lifted her head as she heard Marco's voice. Star felt anger rising in her as she turned around to face him. Marco was staring at his feet.

"Star...I- I'm sorry. It was Kelly, she-" He began.

Star stood up and stormed over to Marco. She struggled to talk loudly because all the crying was choking her.

"Y- you have no idea w-what's happening right now. I'm princess of Mewni, and I p- promised my mom I would solve this problem. It's getting worse and worse, and I'm having a headache every day. You were t- the one I could lean on. Now I doubt if you even love me anymore!" Star yelled.

Marco's head shot up as he heard the last remark. His hurt brown eyes stared at Star as his tear drip down from his face. Marco closed his eyes, whipped around and ran out of Star's room. Star stood in shock. She had never seen more pleading eyes. Seeing Marco cry tugged on her shattered heartstrings. And she was the reason to make him cry.

"Oh no no no no..." Star mumbled as she leaned against the wall and plopped down onto the floor. She leaned her head on the wall. Star messed up. Big time.

Marco ran downstairs, past his parents, and out the door. Angie put her hands on her heart.

"My precious children," Rafael sobbed. "Now they will break up!"

Angie shot a look at her husband. "Darling, I'm sure they'll get back along,"

Jackie and Kassie parted ways in front of Kassie's house. She was about to open the door when Marco shot out of the house, tears falling. Kassie stood wide-eyed and decided to follow her twin. It was always her job to protect him emotionally. She ran after him.

Marco pulled his hood over his head and walked slowly after a while of running. His heart was broken. Broken because Star didn't trust him anymore, and broken because Kelly had lost his trust. Marco plopped down on a bench. He observed the people walking by. The human parents pulled their children tight every time a mewman or monster passes by.

Kassie looked at her twin brother from a distance away. She was sure there was something wrong with him. Kassie walked up to Marco and sat on the bench with him.

"What's wrong, Marco?"
