Okay. I know it had been a long wait but I have some big plans for this ending chapter and I hope you guys will support my other books as much as this one! Writing and coming up with ideas for this book was an amazing experience for me, and I would really miss it once it's gone.

But good things have to end, and pls don't hate me for ending this!

P.S: this chapter isn't all Starco, but I think it's going to be...enjoyable.

The grand hall in the Monster Temple was filled with music and food and people. Monsters and people chatted about, dancing to the music. Kelly, Star, Kassie, Marco, Tom, Janna and Jackie were standing to the side on there own, talking and enjoying the party.

Star had thrown the party to celebrate her happily ever after, but it's mostly to use all the party decorations and food she had bought a month before. Everybody seems to be having a good time. Meteora and Eclipsa were standing giggling at Globgore, while he flexed his muscles to admiring human bodybuilders. Moon was helping herself to some nachos, while River screamed and shouted through the speakers as a DJ.

Star skitted across the room, over the dance floor, towards the food stands. She piled her plate with strawberries and marshmallows and drizzled warm chocolate over them all. She was popping them into her mouth when a warm grip got hold of her middle. Star giggled.

"Marco, I'm eating," she said shortly. Marco rested his head on Star's shoulder, rustling her hair with his soft breath. Star shivered; she couldn't stand Marco being like this. Star plopped her plate back onto the counter and whipped around, facing Macro and taking him by surprise.

Before Marco had the chance to say anything, Star began.

"Marco! You know I couldn't stand you like this, all adorable and romantic! Now I have to resist the urge to kiss you even though I already failed to!"

She said in pretence anger before smushing Marco's face with her left hand and pressing her lips against his. They stayed like that for a while before parting.

Marco looked at his girlfriend with such love and adoration anyone could've melted under the absolute cuteness of the couple. He held her waist and lead her to the dance floor.

Without a word, they began to dance, with occasional giggles and laughs.

As I have said, anyone could've melted under the absolute cuteness of the couple. Well, not all melted in a good way.

Jackie had seen enough. She ran out of the party room unnoticed, or at least she thinks so. Kassie saw her leaving, and by the look on Jackie's face, something was clearly wrong.

Kassie followed Jackie out onto the streets of Earth-ni. Jackie stood alone on the empty street, with the moonlight casting a silver glow to her short blonde hair. The only sounds that could be heard for a while were the howling of the cold wind and the rustling of leaves. Then Kassie spoke, breaking the silence and alerting Jackie.

"Um...Jackie?"

Jackie whipped around, and immediately Kassie could see silver tears running down Jackie's face.

"K-Kas..."

Kassie looked hurt. "I thought... I thought you could tell me about anything. I thought you stopped talking to me because you got over Marco,"

Jackie stepped closer. "I'm so sorry, Kas. I did move on. But...but I guess there's just a soft spot in me that can't stand Marco being with someone else!" Big tears fell from Jackie's eyes.

"What if someone's been helping you get over Marco all this time because they treasure you so much? What if someone met you for a few days and immediately fell for you? What if someone loves you as much as you love Marco, or maybe even more than how much you love Marco? Come one, Jackie, what about her?" Tears began to dwell in Kassie's eyes as well.

She treasured Jackie, and she had always wanted for Jackie to be happy. Kassie respected Jackie's perspective and opinions on things, and she was always there when Jackie was down in the dumps. And yet, Jackie failed to notice any of that.

Jackie cried even more. "I-I-I'm so sorry, Kassie. I'm so sorry! I...I was just...I...I'm sorry! But...but I did know. I did think about her, and I did fall for her. That's...that's why I was forcing myself so hard to get over Marco!" Jackie said slowly with realization.

Kassie looked away. "But it was always Marco, wasn't it?"

Jackie reached up and wiped a tear from Kassie's face. "It was Marco. But I know now that I could find someone who could care for me and love me, like you! I'm sorry that I had realized so late..."

Kassie looked into Jackie's green eyes and brought her face closer to Jackie, and she pressed her lips softly against her's.

They stood kissing under the moonlight, in the shivering cold, arms wrapping around each other, crying tears of joy and relief.

AHHHHHHH There it is! It's right there! It's up! I've shipped them for so long and I'm so sorry if you think otherwise...

ummm...Jackssie?
