Star's POV
We finally pull apart after a long while of cuddling. I looked up at Marco and a wave of happiness and comfort washed over me. I had him once again, I wouldn't have to deal with this all on my own anymore. This was the moment where I realized what a mess I would be without Marco. Boy, I love him. So much.I grabbed his hoodie and buried my face into it.
"Marco, I'm so sorry. I never should have gotten angry at you. I-I couldn't bear to live without you," I looked up at him. "Will you forgive me?"
"Are you kidding me? I should be apologizing here!" Marco said, pulling me closer by the waist. We were both sitting on the bed of my room.
"I'm sorry, Star. But listen, I swear I didn't cheat on you! Kelly kissed me, not the other way!" he wailed.
"Why would she do that?"
"You don't believe me?" he asked, a little hurt. I gasped and hugged him.
"Oh no no no no no! I was just wondering why would she do such a thing. I trust you, completely." I pulled away for him and put on a serious face.
"But we have bigger problems now. So much bigger. The citizens aren't getting along and my mom had gone to find magic!"
Marco looked confused. "Slowly, Star. You...destroyed the magic. What do you mean 'gone to find magic'?"
"I don't know either. But according to my dad, there's an unknown legend that magic exists outside of the Realm of Magic, or something like that," I sighed. "So much is going on right now, Marco, I don't know where to start. What if mom is in danger? What if the townsfolk actually take down our palace? What if-"
Marco lift my hands up and place them on his heart. His chocolate brown eyes meet mine, and I was mesmerized. We stared at each other for a short while until I calmed down. I can feel his heartbeat as my hands were placed over his chest, and it made me blush.
"Star, how about you just rest for a few days. You know, clear your mind and stuff,"
I looked away. "I can't, Marco. With or without magic, my family is still 'royalty'. It's-it's my job to be a good princess, whichever wacky world it is. I can't take a break,"
He pulled me back. "Yes you can. And you should. It's good for you Star. After all this drama, I think we both need a break,"
I sighed. "Oh alright. But just for a few days." I smiled at Marco.

Kelly thought hard as she rode on Jorby. They were returning to town once again, this time Kelly vowed to find Star and apologize. She must try to get over Marco.
Jorby skidded to a halt in front of the half-broken Butterfly castle. Kelly looked up and was taken aback by what she saw.
"Woah," she uttered. One building of the castle was broken down by a crane standing nearby. The townsfolk, a big group of them, were standing outside the castle, demanding the palace to be broken down. Eclipsa was standing before the castle, trying to calm all those people.
"Wonder what's happened here," she muttered to Jorby as her feet touched the ground. Kelly squeezed through the crowd before making it into the castle.
"Queen of Darkness! What's happening here?" she said as she stepped onto the castle staircase next to Eclipsa. Eclipsa whirled around.
"Oh dear, the townsfolk wants to tear our palace down! And Moon is nowhere to be found!" she wailed.
"Why don't you call the big monster guy to scare the humans away?" she suggested.
"Who? Globgor? Well, we could give it a try," Eclipsa rushed inside the building, Kelly at her heels. But as Eclipsa rushed off to Globgor's room, Kelly wandered off to find Star's room. She recognized it right away. The room stood out completely from the rest of the castle.
Kelly took a deep breath as she knocked quietly and opened the door to Star's room.
She looked up and saw Marco hugging Star. She sighed in relief. Thank god they got back together, she thought. But as soon as Marco spotted Kelly, he stood up abruptly looking mad and pushed pass Kelly out of the room.
"Marco, wait!" she called. Of course he didn't turn back. Kelly sighed sadly and turned to Star.
"Star, what I did was wrong, so wrong, and I don't know how to apologize to you-" her voice tightened. Star stood up and placed a hand on Kelly's shoulder.
"It's alright, Kelly, I kinda forgive you,"
Kelly looked up in surprise. "W-what? You do? B-but..."
Star pulled Kelly to sit on the bed. "Yeah, I really do. But I want to know why you kissed my boyfriend, Kelly. Why? " Star looked stern.
Kelly blushed. "I-I think I like him?" she glanced at Star. "But I will try to get over him, I swear!" she practically screamed and covered her mouth afterwards. Star looked uncomfortable and thoughtful. She exhaled deeply.
"I trust you to get over him, Kelly. Until then, you better go apologize to Marco," she said. Kelly reached out and hugged Star, which she gladly returned.
Kelly's POV
I hugged Star, so thankful to have a good friend like her. Even when I broke her heart, she still believes that I can change and took me under her wing. Star's heart is so pure, and I love her so much. I can't believe I ever let her down. I must get over Marco, for Star.
