Chapter Sixteen:  Dad looks and fake cats.

______________________________

My reputation has never been worse and though that is a reason to celebrate because I've always wanted to have a horrid reputation.

I'd rather  bask in my loneliness, walking in the rain is a sure fire way to get pneumonia and if i do get pneumonia I'll have an excuse to go the the drug store.

I took off my jacket and sat at a bus stop, taking a glace of myself im the glass, my face was clean of any make up, my eyes that i had once emphasised with an emerald green and smokey back were just plain old brown now, my cheeks had no colour, my lips were just thier natural pink and though there were a few streeks of mascara i couldn't remember the last time I'd had a clean face in public.

Maybe i looked  better that way after all Zack always said that i had the perfect completion and skin for the natural look.

"Need a lift." I looked up at Adonis a jet black car behind him.

I nodded and stood, he drove me home without questioning  me which i was thankful for.

Once he stopped the vehicle he caught me in a hug,i was a bit taken back but calmed accepting the warm embrace, he pulled away, the shock written across my face must've emphased my confusion,

"You look like you really needed that."

It wasn't a lie, i really did need that hug,but i didn't want his hug i craved Zack's hugs, big bear hugs that enveloped my body caging me in his arms, he always smelt like mint and Axe...though i use more axe than he does.

"I don't know what happened but i hope that you feel better soon because now I'm sure i never want to see you cry." His dark eyes scanned mine and i smiled lightly, he thought that I'd been crying in the rain,
"Thanks." Was all i could get out before we both went silent, he leaned forward his lips touched mine and nothing.

The walking sex didn't give me the BOOMCLAP I'd been craving. He pulled back scratching  the back of his neck nervously.

This was wrong, Adonis probably thought that he had a clear shot with me, that he could worm his way into my heart, I'm sorry to break it to us both but I'm pretty sure I'm not the one for him, I'm not going to pull a Bella Swan and lead him on till i get married.

"Adonis...i can't." I sighed and he took the hint, biting down on his lower lip, processing the words before nodding,
"I get it." He said before leaning over and openning my door for me, i guess he only wanted the "love" aspect in our friendship...that wasn't really a friendship, more like a countdown  to us eventually having fast, hard and passionate sex, and please note that i didn't say loving in that assessment.

I got out.

"I just hope that you can realise your going after the wrong target." With that he drove away, not even giving me a chance to work out the exact meaning to his words.

I had no target.

In conclusion, Darcy is truly every woman's desire a man that was laid out with several core traits, wealth, the promise of success and of course a happily ever after.

"Done." I said smiling at my completed essay, my hand unconsciously dipped into the bowl of popcorn stuffing my mouth with the crunchy buttery snack.

"Sup Gwen." I looked over my shoulder at Duncan,
"Hey." He sat on my bed,
"So.. i took notes for you." He dug into his bag handing me  the note book I'd sent him to my lectures with, best way for him to apologise,

"So, when  are you coming back to the outside world?" I picked up the alice band that was previously holding back my hair and push my bangs our of my face,
"I'm not coming out." He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose,
"You have to get some vitamin D it's healthy for you, but this whole staying in your room till the day you die thing isn't."

I caught his point, i haven't left my house in a week, at some point even Annie noticed and though i am very mad at her she also placed some good points on my unhealthy life style.

"What about soccer?"
I smiled at him stuffing my mouth with more popcorn,

"I have practice tomorrow morning so I'll go then hide in here again."
He nodded before my phone went off,

Sløtface's Galaxies rang and i picked up,

"Arianna Ignasia Sedio you have a photo shoot in thirty minutes, where are you?"Harrison's voice rang through my phone and i stood, oh crap i forgot,
"I'm on my way...just feeding my new pet cat." I could hear a snicker on the other side clearly Liberty because of her tendency to make up excuses like that,
"Are you sure you have a cat?" I shoved on my converse,
"Yes, are you implying that i do not?"  Liberty laughed,
"Oh my god, child you can lie."
"I know right, but seriously I'll be there in...ten minutes."
"Harri give me the phone."  Liberty asked and there was rustling,
"No, ugly. I know what your going to say." Harri hissed,
"Yeah idiot, and it's important."

"Your gonna ask her to bring you food." Liberty scoffed,
"Well, if you think that feeding your kids isn't important then sue me." My eyes widened,
"Wait, Libby you said kids as in plural?" I heard rustling and heavy breathing,
"Oh yeah right, I'm carrying Twins one little lady and a little man." Liby breathed,
"Oh shit, our family genes hit you hard." She sighed,
"You sound like Amber, although she expected triplets since Harri is part of the Ryder Triplets."
"Ugly! You stole my fxxking phone!"
"Well...that i did."
"I wanted to tell her."
"I'm carrying the kids."
"I put them inside you."
I rolled my eyes well aware that they were about to involve me in another argument, honestly saying thier relationship really surprises me, how  they can stand each other long enough to actually conceive a kid is beyond me,
"I'm on my way bye!"

I hung up then looked at Duncan, pouting and trying my best to look cute,
"I'll give you a lift." He groaned and i smiled  and we left, the drive to the location was a boring one because Duncan wouldn't let me switch stations and insisted on Drake.

The place was some sort of park, with a lake and a few benches, the first person or rather people i saw were Liby and Harri who were still arguing, until Harri just leaned into her and she calmed down, her eyes fluttered closed and they kissed,  standing next to eachother and even after getting to know Liby, they are polar opposites, Liby is a rule follower, a goody two shoes who never ever gets tired, and Harrison well he's not exactly a good guy, he's a player a bad guy a heart breaker and rule breaker, infact he's a breaker of everything, and she's a fixer.

Harri has black curly hair and green eyes he's the image of perfection, every girls dream, on the other hand Liby is a South African, dark thick curly hair hair type 4B, caramel skin, and chocolate eyes though Harri swears that their honey coloured, not to meantion the fact that he calls her ugly repeatedly and she calls him Idiot.

"Oh my god!" Duncan ran forward ruining the moment that Liby and Harri were ingaged in,
"Your Liberty Summers!" Liby face palmed herself,
"Yeah i am."
"Oh my god, your even more beautiful in real life, I've always wanted to know if a guy like me__"

Harrison chuckled, stepping closer to Liby his arm going around her waist,

"Hey kid, she's my ugly girl."

Liby bit her lip,
"Yeah kid and...I'm kinda pregnant." Duncan nodded,
"I get it, it's not like I've waited two years for this." He sulked and Harri got this look, an interesting look on his face like...a dad look,

"Hey kid, don't be sad and shit, sometimes the right person isn't the best lookimg one, it's the person who knows you like the back of thier hand, the person who willingly insults you for fun and the person only you notice the little things about, Liby is that for me, I'm pretty sure you'll find one for you."

For some reason i took in his words, letting them settle in the back of my mind, Harrison Ryder my stupid brother has finally become wise.

I know i love writing for Arianna but so far my favorite pairing to write for are Liby and Harri.

I love their dynamic.
