I let out a howl and watched my mate stiffens in front of me. He took a step closer. I took a step back, wincing once more at my shoulders. I heard my brothers howl back. My paws were still deep into the water. The current flowing against me.

I see her! Axel said through the mind link. We heard him howl off to the side. While I was snapping my head, and I noticed my mate did too. Instantly I started to run towards Axel, while he came closer to me.

We passed each other for a moment. Axel got low, growling protectively. Soon two other wolves flashed past me. Ralph and Colby. I felt someone touch my side. I looked to see Felix checking me for injuries. My mate, a few yards off, growl at Felix's actions. I didn't flinch as he got to my shoulders. I heard Felix let out a weak growl. Felix didn't growl. I looked at him with wide eyes.

Is she safe? Dylan said from somewhere.

She's wounded. Felix spoke as he walked around the other side of me. I just looked at my mate as he stared into me.

I heard growls erupt from my brothers on Felix's words. Soon enough Anthony and Dylan showed up. Dylan jumped over me, keeping himself over me protectively. I was so small I could easily fit under him. Dylan was the largest wolf out of us, well, besides Tre.

I started to worry for my mate, all my brothers were starting to show up. Even if he was an alpha, he stood no chance against the Willino family. I wouldn't kid myself, mate or not, if he attacked my family. I would kill him.

I heard thundering paws hitting the ground. I looked back to see Tre running at full speed, breaking through the tree line and onto the rocky river side. He gave me a quick glance seeing that I was safe then jumped over Ralph. He let out a bark standing in front of all my brothers.

Then my mate shifted into his human form. His tamed black hair, and black pants and jacket tucked close to his body. "Liekos Epsilion Alpha of the Flos Mortem pack. Sorry I took a chunk out of your—" it was raining so hard I almost couldn't hear him.

Tre shifted and stood tall, "sister. Beta Willino from the White Rose pack. You knew we were on your land, and you still attacked her." He growled out. "I hope you know what this could mean for you." His voice boomed out. So much it startled me. I lifted up into Dylan's chest put he pressed me back down again protectively.

"Don't get wordy with me Beta. Your sister is my mate." He crossed his arms over one another. I wanted to growl, how dare he address my brother that way. He was the Beta of my pack, I wouldn't, I couldn't, stand for this.

But I loved him already. The way he looked, the smell I couldn't stop smelling. His actions. I was swimming in only him. I watched to get closer and admire him.

"Take her back." My eyes widen at Tre's order. Wait, I wouldn't get to see what is about to happen. I can't get a choice in the matter? Instantly, Dylan lowered his head into mine, a warning. I didn't like going against my brothers. Tre turned his body and glared dead into my eyes. My hairs stood on end.

But Tre, he's my mate. I whined as Dylan made me turn. I tired to look over Dylan's shoulders at Tre or maybe my mate. Someone who would sympathize with me. But to no avail, I resulted in drilling holes into Tre's back with my eyes.

And he injured you knowingly. Tre said back, at this point there would be no arguing. Tre was in fight mode and when he gets to this point, it was his way or the highway. Head back with Dylan. Then he looked back at us, it was a short glance. But a chance I took to glare at him. This seemed to only piss him off more. Don't let her out of your sight, he said menacingly.
