Dania
—When I got to the door, I pulled it open and slammed it shut behind me. "Help!" I screamed out bloody murder. I watched as the Alpha's youngest son slam against the glass door. Leaving a crack in it, I had to hold it shut. It wasn't good that the lock on the door was broken due to all the slamming and boys running in and out. It was a big deal because we never really had a problem with murders until now. "Help!!" I screamed again.
I heard a thump from behind me. I glanced back to see that Tre just jumped over the railing of the stairs. "Dania? What's wrong?!" Then he looked over my shoulder to see the Rogue running to slam into the door again. "Dania move!" He shoved me out of the way as the glass door shattered around us.
I felt the glass spray all over me I wrapped my hands around Tre grunting in pain as I hit the wooden floor. "What's going on?!" Dylan was the next to yell. I looked over Tre's body to see that the wolf had officially broken into the house. I didn't have time to think only to react.
I shifted into my wolf form and threw my body at the rogue. I had to buy Tre time from his blow. He went down protecting me. I saw the wolf go through the wall. Tre was up again, now in his wolf form, and jumped through the hole in the wall, pinning the Alpha's son down.
The rogue started snapping at Tre's neck forcing me to hold his face to the side. Dylan took this time to walk with his hands in his pockets over to the down wolf. Tre was growling in the intruders' face while Dylan squatted down. "As the new Beta of this pack, you will now answer to me." I got chills down my spine. I have never seen Dylan so serious in my life.
"What the hell is going on?!" All the brothers were down, and my mother screamed in shock when she saw the wreckage.
"Is that the Alpha's kid?" Someone behind me said. It was the Alpha's son, but I couldn't see any trace of similarity in his red eyes, foaming mouth, and rotten smell.
"What happened to him?" Anthony said as he walked up next to me, who was still holding down his face. "Are you okay?" He turned my shoulder to see the cuts on my face. He looked at the door and nodded in understanding.
"Ralph take her spot. Let's get you cleaned up." Colby tugged my arm, trying to get me away from the scene. Ralph moved in without a word of protest which was rare for him. I shifted back to my human form.
"What are we going to do about-" I looked back at the rogue to see him staring right at me.
I think my heart has stopped.
It didn't start back up again until my dad spoke, "Tre, take him outside, it will be messy inside." I glanced at my dad to see his eyes narrowed and his posture taunt with stress. Everyone else had the same expression, scared and worried. What was happening to this pack? Was my family going to be okay?
"Come on," Colby was staring down at me with a soft expression. It was like he knew what I was thinking and was trying to soothe me. "Dad and Tre will figure it out, don't worry." His hand, which was holding mine, moved up to his shoulders as he wrapped it around me, pulling me into his chest.
The other hand went up to the back of my head, tucking it snuggly into the crook of his shoulder. I returned the hug giving him a good squeeze, "I'm glad nobody got hurt."
"How can you say that? Look at you? You are all scraped up." Felix was behind us. I turned my head back, still in Colby's hold.
"It could be worse," I said returning to the spot in Colby's shoulder.
"Well, let's get you treated, up you go." Colby reached down and swept my legs out from under me carrying me bridal style. "Felix bring me the aid-kit, mom will know where it is, we will be in the room."
