We enjoyed this small moment before I, reluctantly, pulled away.

"We should- we should head inside. Y-you know see what- see what the wisps have to offer." I look down at my feet waiting for an answer.

"Yeah. Onward to our quest!" Bill hollered making me laugh.

"Shush, Bill." He stuck his tongue out towards me, "We have to be careful around here. What if there's an axe murderer in there?"

"Well then, I'll protect you." He puffed his chest out.

I rolled my eyes and walked in front of the door. This is it. All of our problems will be solved. I can be happy with Bill. Stanford won't be a butt anymore. Unless our fates are meant to be apart. I froze just as my hand reached the handle.

"Hey," Bill put his hand on my shoulder, giving me an encouraging squeeze. "Everything's going to be alright. I'm here."

I smiled at him and opened up the door. I opened the door excited but once I stepped inside all that was left was confusion.

"Why would the wisps lead us here?" Bill stepped in and looked around the store filled with wood carvings.

"I guess our fate is failure." Bill nodded towards an old lady with her right eye closed. She was wearing an old apron and carving a bear sculpture. Why is she so obsessed with bears? All of these sculptures are bears. Why are you obsessed with Bill? Touche.

"Bill," I hissed at him and slapped his arm, "Don't be so rude." Bill grumbled a response and kept looking at the carvings, specifically a furry monster carving.

"Oh," The lady finally noticed the duo, "look around. Holler if you see anything you like. Everything is half off."

I looked away from the display of bears hanging on the ceiling and saw her now sweeping. "Who are you?"

"Just a humble wood carver."

"Um, I don't understand."

The duo looked back at each other confused. Bill shrugged, continuing to look through some wooden bear themed mugs before dropping it when the old lady crept up beside him.

"See anything you like?" I noticed Bill holding onto his sword handle, clearly not trusting the old lady.

The old lady swooped past Bill to present two bears on a seesaw, "Perhaps a touch of whimsy to brighten any dark chamber."

"But, the will-o'-the-wisps! They lead..."

"Oh, this is one of a kind! I'll make you a deal for this rare prize." She held some kind of bear-snatching-fish-contraption in front of me.

Before I could answer her, Bill shook my shoulder, "Her broom!"

His face was in shock as he pointed towards the broom sweeping on its own. I heard a snap and before I could say anything it was on the ground.
