a/n: don't kill me for this
(Lana's pov)
"Naveah, hurry up! You're going to be late." I yelled up the stairs to my 7 year old daughter.
"I'll be down in a second mommy!" I heard her soft voice yell from her room.
"Can't we just leave now and have dad take her." her sister, Cordelia, groaned, as she grabbed another handful of fruity pebbles. Cordelia was 10 and very beautiful for her age. She resembled her father in many ways. She had his chocolate brown, fluffy hair and his hazel eyes. As for her personality, she got that from me. She was very similar to the sensitive, fruity pebble loving, fun-loving, 10 year old me. I only hoped she didn't get into quite as much drama in her teen years.
"I'm ready!" Naveah said in a sing-song voice, while she skipped downstairs. She had a big, goofy, violet dress on. While Cordelia looked much like her father, Naveah was a spitting image of my mother. She had straight, dark brown locks with piercing blue eyes.
"Mommy, why do you have to chaperone at the dance? All of my friends are going to think I'm lame." Naveah complained. I laughed, seeming as all of her friends were in the first grade.
"I'm sure all of your friend's mommies will be there too, Vea."
"Can't daddy come instead....?"
I put my hand to my heart, and gasped in fake offense.
"Wow Naveah, I see how it is. And even if I would let him go instead of me, he has to stay home and watch Archer." The brunette girl pouted for a bit before finally grabbing a handful of fruity pebbles and heading to the car.
"Cordelia, get in the car. I'm going to say goodbye to your brother and dad." I said, giving her a sweet smile. She nodded and ran off to follow her sister.
I walked into the living room to see Max sitting on the floor playing cars with our two year old son, Archer. I stood in the doorway and smiled at the sweet sight. After noticing me Max got up and walked in my direction. "What time will you be home?" he asked, with a soft smile.
"Should be before 9. Vea gets grumpy when she doesn't get a goodnight sleep." I told him.
"Oh trust me, I know." He said, making me giggle.
"You got everything handled with Arch?" I asked. He nodded and I gave him an unsure look. He lightly grabbed my hand and simply said, "trust me", with a reassuring smile. I nodded and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "See you later honey, love you." I told him, heading out the door.
"Love you too!"
After Harvey and I broke up, I was heartbroken, but it was meant to happen. We were young when we started dating. The relationship was not going to last forever. After we broke up, I moved to London. Not too far away, but far away enough to start a new life. I found a passion for fashion and devoted all of time into the industry. I became a fashion designer which led me to move to Paris for a few years. One day, Max came to visit me and we just clicked. I wasn't entirely sure what was different from when we were teenagers, but something certainly was. We ended up dating and falling in love. After a few years he proposed while we were in Bora Bora. After we got married, we moved back to Berkshire to start a family and the rest is history
I loved my life. So much. I had two beautiful daughters and an adorable son. The best husband I could possible ask for, who loved and cared about me. I had literally amazing friends. Over the years, Sarah and I stayed best friends and now our kids were best friends. The two of us are rooting for her son, August, and Cordelia to end up getting married. There was no more constant drama like when I was in high school. I was blessed. I was happy. :)
(a/n: this is short but I just wanted a short and sweet ending. sorry for the bad writinggggg. this wasn't in anyway how I planned to end this story when I first started writing it. I wassss going to end ultimately end it with Harvey and Lana breaking up. And have the last line be "There I was. Broken." butttttttt I guess I never really finished the story so different circumstances. Anyways. Thank you to the few people that stuck around till the end. Have an amazing life! :D)
