Best Friends? I Harvey Mills ✓

Chapt. 12

    (Lana's pov)

      Ruby, Ava, Emily, and Kimberly came over to join Sarah and I. The six of us binge watched tons of rom-coms and ate fruity pebbles. I don't think I could've asked for a better group of friends. The week at school wasn't too exciting without Harvey. I missed him a lot. On Friday, I went to the Mills house with Lizzy. When I walked in, the twins were on a live stream. "Harvey," Max whispered to Harvey; "Lana is here." Harvey's face lit up. He smiled and said to the camera, "I have to go, but we'll probably go live tomorrow." Harvey smiled and waved, walking off camera. Harvey came over and wrapped Lizzy and I in a big hug. "How was your week?" I asked him. He frowned. "Boring." He looked upset. "But I'm happy you're here now. Come on, we have something set up in the backyard." He grabbed Lizzy's hand and took the two of us into the yard where Tilly was waiting. "Welcome to the Mills talent show!" Tilly smiled. 

"As you know, Harvey has had a lot of free time, so he helped me put together a talent show! First, we have Max and Harvey!" Tilly led Lizzy and I to a blanket on the floor before the show began. Max and Harvey started by singing 'Trade Hearts' and 'Words'. Afterwards, Tilly sang 'A Letter to Me' by Jenna Raine. After singing, she took Pippa up and the two of them danced together. It was rather enjoyable, as Pippa refused to twirl and Tilly couldn't top laughing. The talent show was a really good idea. As the show was coming to an end, Harvey got up on stage and said, "I would like Miss Lana Gessony to come join me on the stage." he smiled. Oh no, what as he going to do? I laughed a bit and went to the stage, also known as their trampoline. "You know '2002', right?" Harvey asked me.

"Yes, why....?" I asked. 

"We are going to sing it." he smiled at me

"Harvey, no. I can't sing." 

"It doesn't matter. As long as you have fun!" He opened his mouth to start singing. Oh no. After the first verse, Harvey looked at me, waiting for me to start singing. I shook my head, laughing. He gave me puppy dog eyes. "No Harvey." I whispered. 

"Please........" He pouted. He continued to give me puppy dog eyes and I just couldn't help it anymore. "Fine." I whispered. After starting singing, I had a really good time. Harvey was right. It didn't matter if I was good or not, I was having an amazing time! Harvey really knew how to get me to have a good time. At the end, the two of us locked eyes, singing the last line of, "On the day we fell in love." The two of us stood there, just looking in to each other's eyes, smiling. In that moment, I thought back to all of the memories I had with him. He had been my best friend since we were babies, he helped me through when my mom died, he made me happy, he was truly amazing. One thought flashed through my head that made me realize that I was in love. I was in love with Harvey Kitt Mills.

a/n: Firstly, Leo will appear during spring break. Secondly, um I forgot about VidCon so just like pretend like that happened the weekend of Valentines Day.....:))
