Just a fun little rant book I wanted to make full of stuff that really bothers me in stories.
DISCLAIMER: The point of this book is for me to vent about weird things I find in stories and for you to laugh at those things! If you are guilty of doing...
And I'm not talking about a "HAHA! He is such a funny asshole!" reader.
I'm talking about a way to realistic asshole that could exist in real life. One that would probably do this if they had the power. And I don't mean in a way where they could be given some kind of character development.
Then again reader inserts don't really get character development so that last sentence doesn't make much sense.
To understand what I mean, take a look at this example, from once again, a RWBY story.
I should really start using examples from different fandoms.
For context the reader is basically meeting every relevant character in RWBY. But today let's focus on their interaction with Qrow. Also Ilia, Sienna, and Ciel are there for harem purposes.

Ooooo nice~ A misunderstanding joke. So it looks like the four are, sadly, gonna beat up Qrow. But it's fine, it's for a joke after all. It'll probably end with somebody explaining the misunderstanding!

IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A FUCKING JOKE! FOR WHAT REASON WAS SMASHING HIS BALLS NECESSARY! IGNORING HOW IT WASN'T EVEN A FAIR FIGHT, HOW WAS THIS SUPPOSED TO BE FUNNY!LIKE SERIOUSLY HOW CAN ANYONE FIND THIS FUNNY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S SUCH AN UNDERSERVED BEATDOWN! AND QROW DOESN'T EVEN GET AN APOLOGY AT THE END FOR IT TO BE A JOKE, THE CHAPTER FUCKING ENDS RIGHT THERE.
