I put the guitar and basket in the trunk of my car. I already had blankets in there. I grabbed a couple pillows and my laptop and drove to the downtown. Jess figured it out. She knows that me and Lizzie are together. I told Lizzie and she's okay with it. I figured since Jess knew I could use her help. We met up at the ice cream parlor and I gave her the bag. She knows where it was so I asked her to help me set up. After we had ice cream, I went to a couple places and then went to Lizzie's house. I hope she doesn't answer. I want to surprise her.

"Hello, Sam. What brings you here?"

"Hello sir. I was wondering, is Lizzie home? I kind of have a surprise for her. A gift."

"Oh. Well come in. She's with Tina but they should be back in a few minutes. Go up to her room and you can wait for her there. "

"Perfect. Thank you sir. "

I went up to her room and took the flowers out of the box they were in. I hid them under the bed and sat down. I turned my Ipod on and blasted the music. After a few minutes I decided to lay down. A little while later I felt something on top of me so I opened my eyes and saw the most beautiful girl in the world straddling me. I pulled my headphones off.

"Hey Liz" I gave her a quick kiss.

"Hey. What are you doing here?" I got up and sat her on my lap.

"Well, I came to ask you something." I quickly pulled the boquete out and handed it to her. "Will you go on a date with me?"

The boquete had some white lilies, red roses, white tulips, and a single black rose. Let me tell you, that flower was hard to find. I ordered it a few weeks ago for myself, because I thought they were amazing and black happens to be my favorite color, but it came at the perfect time.

"These are beautiful!"

"They're nothing compared to you" she blushed as I smiled widely.

"I'd love to go on a date with you" my smile grew impossibly wide.

We drove for about 25 minutes. I turned into a dirt path.

"Where are we going? Your not gonna kill me and dump me here are you?" I laughed at that.

"No, never. We're going to my secret hide-out." She nodded lightly but I could see she was a bit worried so I took her hand and intertwined our fingers together and kissed the back of her hand.

"Calm down. I'd never hurt you. Ever." I gave her a reassuring smile. She calmed down a little.

I parked the car and got out. I opened her door and grabbed the basket from the trunk. I took her hand and we walked for a couple minutes before it came into view. The best thing about this small terrible town is this place. Its a cliff about 20 minutes out of town. The view here is amazing. You can see the whole town from here. Only Jess knows about it and that's thanks to her curiosity. She followed me out here once and it hasn't been fully mine since.

"Wow... I didn't know this place existed. It's amazing. "

"Only two people know about this place. Three now. And the third person wasn't supposed to. "

"Who's the third person?"

"Jesse."

"How does she know if she wasn't supposed to?"

"Sneaky bitch followed me out here one day."

"Oh. Um, she's not going to come is she?"

"No. It's a date. Plus I swore if she came I'd bash her head in." She told me I was crazy. I just laughed.

"I'm joking. I just told her not to come and she agreed."

"Oh." I finished setting up and she was still staring at the view. I walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Come on. Let's sit down."
