CHAPTER 18.5: TOUR
MAXWELL's POV
''Are you ready?'' Athena asked us as she ride her own bicycle. Finally natakasan namin ang mga butlers na kanina pa sumusunod samin.
She never told us the reason. But do think as well that they are kinda weird for following us around here as if we are suspects of a crime.
Can't blame them though, except for Courtney, we're completely strangers with the rest of owners of these mansion.
Looking back, I can't help but to smirk at shrug remembering how Athena planned all these escape plan by herself when Lian and Lian excused themselves when their parents called.
I still can't believe that this emotionless nerd they called in school actually has this side.
"Let's go!" Aya niya and we were about to hit our pedals but we all stop when we heard a familiar voice shouting from a far. So we roam our eyes to find who's not with us.
"Cloud!" Nanlaki ang mga mata namin ng makitang wala siya sa tabi namin. He even left the bicycle he's using lying on the floor. Our eyes got bigger when we heard a dog barking together with Cloud's scream.
"Guys! Tulong may asong humahabol saakin!" We don't know what to do when we finally saw Cloud running towards us. Some gardeners try to call the bulldog's attention but it seems that the dog has gotten really mad with Cloud.
Cloud have surely done something to anger this huge dog. And I swear I'm gonna kill him for doing this!
Call me coward or what but I don't care, but I hate dogs. Takot kami sa aso! We already experienced something like this when we're younger because of Cloud and Lian's mischiefs. Si Liam naman na tanging hindi takot sa aso ay bigla nalamang nagpaalam na aalis sandali ng hindi pumayag si Athena na bumalik agad ng mansion at kahit si Lian ay sumama dito.
"G-guys m-magbike na kayo!" We all nod and do what she say. I thought she said that so we can all escape but she didn't move from her position earlier. "Kuro!" Malamang ay tinatawag niya ang atensyon ng aso dahil yun din kanina ang tawag ng mga trabahador dito na kanina pa gustong pakalmahin ang asong ito. Nakasakay parin siya sa bike niya na ginamit niyang pangharang kay Cloud na tumatakbo pati narin sa asong humahabol dito. "Cloud don't run! Stop running!"
"I can't baka kagatin niya ko!" Naiiyak na sigaw ni Cloud habang tumatakbo na ngayon papunta kay Athena.
"Hindi ka hahabulin niyan if you just stop running." Shout Athena.
Napatingin ako sa paa ni Athena ng unti-unti niyang apakan ng madiiin ang pedal ng bike niya. She was about to step on the bike's pedal but then Cloud jump unto her na naging dahilan ng pagkabagsak ni Athena sa sahig kasama ang bike nito.
At sa pagkabagsak nila sa sahig ay siyang pagkahuli ng mga lalaking naka-itim sa malaking itim na aso.
"A-aww!" Daing ni Athena at sa hindi malamang dahilan ay mabilis na naalarma ang lahat. Everyone on the scene including the maids na kanina ay walang magawa kundi ang manood dahil sa takot ay mabilis na naglapitan kay Athena at inaalalayan ito patayo. And no one---no one ask how's Cloud. Lahat sila ay tila alalang-alala kay Athena na tila isang malaking dyamante na hindi maaring magkaroon ng lamat. Habang kami ay gulong gulo sa nangyayari.
"Tawagin niyo si Butler John."
"M-miss okay ka lang po ba?"
"Miss Athena naririnig niyo po ba kami?"
"M-May masakit po ba sainyo?"
"Miss kamusta po ang pakiramdam niyo?"
"Yung first aid kit?"
"Si butler Jhon tawagan niyo."
