Divergent Her

Chapter 1

Recap from aptitude  test:
In Divergent Tris takes the Aptitude test and revives the knowledge knowing she is divergent and has the aptitude for Abnegation, Dauntless and Erudite. Also in divergent she chooses dauntless. We arrive at the scene of where she is on the train on the way to dauntless.

Also: This won't be exactly the same as divergent since Four is already in the relationship with Lauren. There will be other twists throughout the story.

Tris POV:
I barely get on the train to go to dauntless. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I didn't make it. I look over next to me and there's a girl in candor clothes.
"Hi" she says to me "I'm Christina".
"Hi I'm Beatrice" I answer to her.
"Where are we going" she asks me thinking I know.
"Probably to dauntless" I answer her.
"Oh where's that" she asks me.
"Who knows" I say. I think to myself is it like candor to asks a bunch of questions too but before I can finish that thought I hear people say "there jumping". I spring up and look outside the train and see sure enough they are jumping out the train. Christina looks at me her eyes wide.
"Can we jump together" she asks me fearful. "I don't think I could do it unless someone drags me".
I say "Sure". I don't know if I'm helping her because I'm from abnegation or we might become friends. Soon we get to the point where we need to jump. Me and Christina grab hands and run out the train and jump. We make it to the roof top full of gravel. I scrape my elbow a little but other then that no real harm done.

Some one stands at the edge of the roof with a stern expression on their face.
"Welcome to Dauntless, I am a leader Max" Max says. "First to get into the compound you have to jump. So who will be first?" He asks.
No one raises their hands or moves forward so I say "Me!"

Everyone turns their heads in shock. Some other candor says something about me that I don't quite catch cause I hear a ringing in my ears. So in turn I take off my outer shirt just leaving my inner shirt on and throw in at his chest. I climb up in the ledge and look down.
"Today initiate" Max fires at me.
I jump and I don't scream and then I hit a NET. Hands reach for me and I grab the nearest one.
I hear someone say "A stiff the first to jump?"
"There's a reason she left them Lauren" the person attached to the hand I grab answers. "What's your name" he asks.
"Um..." I hesitate I don't know why but Beatrice just doesn't sound right anymore.
"Think about it" he says a faint smile curling his lips. "You don't get to pick again."
"Tris" I say firmly.
"Tris" Lauren repeats but she doesn't look happy. "Make the announcement Four".
The boy-Four-looks over his shoulder and shouts "First jumper-Tris" Four sets his hand on my back receiving a glare from Lauren and says "Welcome to Dauntless."

After everyone finally gets down the building and we're all standing Four and Lauren lead us down the narrow tunnel. I can already tell something is going on between them. I don't know why but my stomach hurts at that thought. Then everyone stops walking. I bump into the erudite boy in front of me.
"This is where we divide". Lauren says. "The dauntless-born are with me I assume you don't need a tour of the place." She smiles at the initiates and the looks at Four and winks at him. His expression doesn't change but his eyes show happiness. Then she leads the Dauntless-born away.
"Most if the time I work in the control room, but for the next few weeks I'll be your instructor," he says. "My name is Four."
Christina asks "Four? Like the number?"
"Yes" Four says. "Is there a problem".
"No"
"Good. We're about to go to the pit, which someday you'll learn to love. It-"
Christina snickers. "The pit clever name."
Four walks up to Christina and leans his face close to hers. His eyes narrow, and for a second he stares at her.
"What's your name?" He asks quietly.
"Christina", she squeaks.
"Well Christina, If I wanted to pit up with candor smart-mouths, I would have joined their faction", he hisses. "The first lesson you'll learn from me is to keep your mouth shut. Got that?"
She nods

We see the pit and all the Dauntless in it. We see the chasm and are warned by Four not to jump because that will end our life. After that we are lead to a dining hall. Me and Christina looks for seats and we see a mostly empty table across the hall. I find myself sitting between her and Four. Of course Lauren is sitting across from Four. In the center there are circular priced of meat wedges between round bread slices.
Four nudges me with his elbows
"It's beef," he says. "Put this on it". He passes me a small bowl of red sauce. Me and Christians talk about how I've never had a hamburger before and Fours mouth twitches when I roll my eyes and say
"Yeah, it was just because of the food". Responding to Christina when she said
"No wonder you left."

Suddenly to room get quieter. A young man walks in with piercings all over his face.
"Who's that!" Christina hisses.
"His name is Eric and he's a dauntless leader."
"Seriously? But he's so young"
"Age doesn't matter here" and Four has a grave look and glances at Lauren. I'm about to ask what matter but then Eric walks over to our table. He drops into the seat next to Four.
"Well aren't you going to introduce me". He asks nodding towards Christina and me.
Four says "this is Tris and Christina."
"Ooh a Stiff" says Eric smirking at me. "We'll see how long you last."
Eric drums his finger on the table then looks at Four and asks "What have you been doing lately Four?"
"Nothing really" he says
My eyes flick back and forth wondering if their friends and then I catch Lauren's eye and immediately stop because she looks furious at me so I continue to listen looking at my food.
"Max tells me he try's to meet with you and you never show up" Eric says. "He's requested that I find out what's going on with you".
"Tell him I am satisfied with the position I currently hold."
"So he wants to give you a job?"
"So it would seem".
"And you aren't interested"
"I haven't been for the last 2 years."
"Well"says Eric "let's hope he gets the point then". He walks away.
"Are you two friends?" I say unable to contain my curiosity. After Lauren's face I wish I had.
"We were in the same initiate class"he says " he transferred from erudite."
"We're you a transfer too?" I ask.
" I though I only had to worry about the Candor asking to many questions and now I've got stiff too."
"It must be because your so approachable" I say flatly. "You know like a bed of nails"
He stares at me and I wonder when the tension will break. It's my choice. I feel heat rush to my checks.
But he just says "Careful Tris."

After dinner we head to the dorms and leans that we will be ranked and there will be cut and I become determined to remain in dauntless.

Hey, sorry for the long chapter😂. I had a lot to explain about what was going on in the story. But they should get a little smaller.
