chap 3 new friend, new acquaintance?

Amelia and Milli were still talking when home room ended. Milli was a ray of sunshine and had put Amelia in a good mood. The two girls walked down the hall, talking about their interests. Milli was very into k-pop, Amelia couldn't say she shared the interest but listening to milli discuss it so passionately was fascinating.The hall was full of people and the energy was high. 

"what do you think about this little school of ours?", asked Milli as she skipped along with Amelia.

"I like it, so far at least", answered Amelia with a smile. 

She actually did, this school was better than her last. She was laughing and walking the hall with Milli when she suddenly saw someone she recognized, it was the really scary someone that she had bumped into before class. Amelia tapped Milli on the shoulder and pointed to them.

"who is that?".

milli followed Amelia's gaze and when she spotted them, the color drained from her face.

"no-nobody, you should stay away from them", blurted Milly out nervously.

"oh come on, who are they, wait.. they, are they nonbinary?", asked Amelia positively.

"ok fine, that is Robin fenrisen, they are nonbinary and one grade above us. they are also really dangerous", answered Milli nervously.

"what, why? whats so dangerous about them?", asked Amelia, the person across the hall didn't seem dangerous, angry sure, but dangerous?

"they have put 3 guys in the hospital and i mean, look at them, approaching them is like approaching a rabid wolf, it doesn't end well, you should stay away", answered Milli, rambling the last few points.

Amelia was a bit shocked at the "3 guys in the hospital" thing but she had looked into their eyes and she didn't feel in danger, she was pretty sure that they wouldn't hurt her. Amelia took a deep breath and made her decision. she braced herself and started walking over to Robin. she planted herself right in front of them and extended her right hand in greeting.

"hi, you're Robin, right. I'm Amelia", she stood fast even though the look in Robin's face made her want to run away.

Robin gazed at her out stretched hand and then up to her face, they didn't know why this strange girl was talking to them and they didn't really care until they recognized her, this was the new girl who had bumped into them this morning. That didn't really explain why she was talking to them now but Robin didn't care about that ether. 

Amelia gestured with her hand, she was determined to make this happen. 

Robin looked away from her and scoffed as they shock her hand.

"you should probably run along now, you wont make many friends if they see you talking to me", said Robin nastily as they let go of her hand. they walked past her and continued down the hall, Amelia turned around and saw them turn a corner. 

Amelia looked around, there were a few people who were looking at her, they looked confused and slightly uncomfortable, she guessed that it was true what Milli had said, no one ever talks to Robin.

she ruched back to Milli who looked both shocked and amazed.

"they... they actually spoke to you, that... I've never seen that happen before. are you some kind of beast whisperer, or something?", exclaimed Milli loudly.

"nope, just a determined conversationalist", replied Amelia with a chuckle.

Milli joined in in the laughter. the girls continued down the hall discussing what just happened. of corse, milli didn't know exactly what had just happened because she didn't know about Amelia's more extensive tastes and the fact that Amelia had a thing for the dangerous type.

the girls had to split up for their next classes, promising that they would meet up at lunch. the classes were boring and Amelia didn't pay attention to most of the things the teachers were saying. luckily the classes went by pretty fast and before she knew it, it was lunch time. Amelia followed the crowd, hoping that it would take her to the cafeteria. she was walking along when she herd something from behind her, she turned around to see a tall, brown haired boy come up to her.

"hey, new girl, how is schools so far, I um saw you talking to Robin fenrisen earlier and i wanted to tell you that you should stay away, cuz if you hang around that freak for too long, you might catch something", said the boy, he was serious, Amelia could tell that he wasn't warning her, he was threatening her.

the boy pushed past her and left her standing in the crowd. people really wanted her to stay away didn't they? but if there was one thing Amelia was good at, it was doing what people didn't want her to do.

when Amelia got to the cafeteria, she looked around, searching for Milli. she spotted the bubbly girl sitting at a table, drawing in a colorful notebook. Amelia made her way over to Milli and sat down. she got her lunch out of her bag and settled in. Milli took her eyes of her notebook and smiled at Amelia.

"glad you could make it", said Milli happily.

"yeah, so am i. but you know, the weirdest thing happened, this boy came up to me in the corridor and told me to stay away from Robin". said Amelia absentmindedly.

"wait really, who?", asked Milli, she clearly loved gossip.

"i don't know, just some guy. brown hair and eyes, tan skin, about 6'2", said Amelia, thinking back to the incounter.

"oh my god, that sounds like Mike james. and it makes sense that he wouldn't want you near Robin, the two of them have been going at it sense forever and he probably wants Robin to be as alone as possible", explained, Milli, talking about drama had litten a fire behind her eyes that impressed Amelia alot.

the two girls spent the rest of lunch talking about drawings and other stuff. thy had gotten to know each other quit well when the bell finally rung.
