Second Person's P.O.V

Murder isn't your field of expertise.

You had your special interests that you were fixated on, but sawing people's limbs off or whacking them over the head with a pickaxe wasn't anywhere on that list. The only reason you even volunteered as an intern at the I.M.P's headquarters was so you could be closer to your girlfriend, Loona.

No murder, no actual work besides Xeroxing papers and fixing the perpetually-malfunctioning coffee machine, and you get to spend time with your favorite Hellhound. It's an all-around good idea.

It would be in theory, at least.

Sweet Satan, the constant arguing! It was driving you mad. These people won't hesitate to pick up fights. Sometimes after any minor offense, other times completely unwarranted. You could hear it all the way from your office.

"Sir, do you really think it's a good idea to increase our prices? It will put people off of our business!"

"It's not a good idea to stick your dick in a blender either Moxxie, but that won't stop me from trying."

"...What?"

"Listen, higher prices mean more money, and we need all we can get! Millie agrees, don't you Millie?"

"He's right, Mox. We do need the extra cash."

"But we also need customers! We need a good business plan!"

"Stop yelling Moxxie, you're giving me a headache!"

"Oh, be quiet Loona, all you do is sit around on Sinstagram and scroll through pictures!"

"Hey, what's wrong with that?"

"What's wrong? You have work to do! Do it!"

"You're not the boss of me!"

"Please calm down, everyone, no need to get aggressive-"

"I'm not getting aggressive! I'm fine! The trouble is that your husband is a jackass who doesn't know how to shut his pie hole and stop ordering me around!"

"Don't talk about Moxxie like that!"

Then clattering and shouting. Rinse and repeat. Every. Fucking. Day.

You wanted to march right up to the meeting room, smack each of those imps right across the face, and tell them to shut the hell up. But you never went through with that plan. You never felt quite up to it. You weren't good with confronting people, and certainly not your boss and his underlings. You would rather listen to their arguments daily than step up and risk getting fired.

So, you distracted yourself with anything you could. This mostly involved watching shows on Hellflix, as they were good for both entertainment and to drown out your employers' yelling. Your favorite show was some supernatural thriller called The Darkness Awaits, about a countess whose house proves to be haunted by the soul of her former lover. It's hooking, and the catchy soundtrack is a bonus.

You mostly watched episodes while the others were busy, then went to catch up with Loona during breaks. Despite her apparent hostility towards her coworkers, she never displayed that side of her to you. Which you were thankful for, of course. You barely talked to anyone, and if the few conversations you to have go poorly, you'll mull over it for the rest of the day.

You do get to see aggressive Loona in action though when you get dragged into those meetings. They're always just as horrific as you would have imagined.
