In a blink of an eye your whole life could be changed. Whether that change is good or bad is up for you to decide. But In Jeongin's and your case, it wasn't for you guys to decide what happened with your lives. Fate had chosen to end your relationship in the most drastic way. The sun beamed down on Jeongin's skin, illuminating his honeyed skin tone. He walked very slowly in the grass in front of him speaking softly.

"Do you remember the day we went to that diner together? I was jealous because of Hyunjin hugging you. It was really stupid but I think that was the day I knew I liked you, more than I wanted to admit." Jeongin spoke into the air. You responded with silence as you both continued on into the green field.

"There was another day we hung out before we started dating." Jeongin laughed to himself at the fond memory of you two together. It had become engraved into his mind. "When we hung out at the school library I'll never forget the day you made a whole bookshelf fall over. Whoever thought putting two clumsy people together in a relationship was cool was wrong." Once again you didn't speak as Jeongin continued walking on.

"Our First Kiss, I would never forget that! When we kissed for the first time I knew I was in love with you. It was awkward but it got us somewhere right?" Jeongin's feet crushed a dead flower in his path creating a crunching sound in the quiet area.

The scenery around them was serene, something out of a painting or movie. It was beautiful. "Everything around us is beautiful." Jeongin smiled at his feet, playing with the bracelet on his wrist that you had given him a few months ago.

"The night I asked you to be my partner, partner in everything made me realize how much love can actually hurt. I couldn't ever imagine myself with you being by side. We've grown as people together and it's something I never want to forget." Silence. You always responded with silence, even if you were listening. Jeongin's steps slowed as he started to go up a small hill. He shortly came to a stop at the top of the hill in front of a bouquet of old, withered flowers.

"We're here, again y/n." Jeongin reached out to grab your hand only for it to grasp nothing except air. The figure, your figure that was standing next to Jeongin disappeared in a blink of an eye. He slowly sunk into the soft grass, placing a fresh flower he had picked before coming onto your grave.

"You used to like swimming, you loved watching scary movies with me because I wasn't afraid, you always used to nag me for eating your food when I didn't ask, you liked making me smile just so you can poke my cheeks, when we would talk on the phone you would always make sure I was healthy before we went to bed, in the morning you hated me being around because your face would get swollen, every time we went out if I said I liked something at a store you would get it for me." Jeongin recited off random facts about you, as he always did visting your grave.

Tears rolled down his cheek when he pulled out a paper with messages written to you. "Chan said he misses your smile. Woojin misses being able to give you hugs. Minho said he wishes he still had someone to tease me with. Changbin misses dragging you along to the studio. Hyunjin said he misses dressing up with you. Jisung said he misses you a lot. He wants to be able to hear you laugh again. Felix misses playing video games with you. Seungmin said he would have taken you out to dinner more and made more time to hang out with you." Jeongin's free flowing tears splashed down onto his paper from his cheeks.

"And I...I love and miss you so much. That night of the car accident I wish I could have told you how much I loved you before it happened." Jeongin's hand unconsciously moved to the scar on his forehead, hidden under his bangs. "I would've followed you anywhere but that night I had to give up on you. I'm sorry that I couldn't  have saved you, I'm sorry that it wasn't me who died in that car crash." He held back a choked sob trying to composed himself. "I was still learning how to love, but now I don't think I'll ever be able to love anyone else properly again." Jeongin wiped his fresh tears away standing up from your grave. He stared blankly at your white headstone letting the time tick by.

He didn't know how long he stood there but he waited. He didn't know for what but he waited there for you, with you. Part of him hoped it was all just a bad dream. You would appear next to him and hold his hand, telling him it was all a bad dream. He wanted to go home and hold you close but the sad reality of it all tore him apart further everyday. Your death had torn him apart in ways that no one could have imagined. He kept a smile on his face but broke down when no one was watching. Jeongin wanted everything to be over but he wouldn't, for you. When Jeongin finally looked up the sun was now setting. He had been there for hours letting the numbness of it all sink in.

"I still love you, even if you're not on this earth anymore. I love you, and now I'm saying goodbye. I'll be back..one day, for you." Jeongin whispered before heading back down the hill into the sunset.
