Felix was always by your side through both the good and bad. He supported you through tough times and right now you were at a time when you needed him the most.

"Will you be okay tonight?" Felix laid on your bed with his hands resting under his chin.

You had gotten into a bad car accident over a month ago but that day seemed to follow you everywhere. In the crash your car and 2 others collided, injuring almost everyone in the crash except you. Since then you've been having horrible nightmares, showing you all the horrors of what could have resulted in that crash. The light from your phone screen disappeared when you clicked the power button.

"I'll be fine, the nightmares will go away soon." You said directing a weary sigh into your lap. These days you hadn't been sleeping since the nightmares were becoming worse. Felix's blonde hair fell over his face, concealing his eyes. You couldn't tell what he was thinking.

"You don't seem so sure about that." Felix responded after a moment brushing the hair away.

"Well I can only hope they will right?" There wasn't much you could do except hope your nights get better even though you didn't think they would.

You almost scoffed when Felix shrugged dismissively, "True." He wore a thoughtful expression before sitting up. "Do you want me to stay? I will." Felix seemed serious so you slowly nodded.

"..Only if you don't mind." You hesitated unsure if you wanted to drag Felix further into your troubles.

"I don't mind at all." It was already late into the night, moon full in the night sky. It was something you had come to dread seeing. Felix moved from his previous position getting ready to sit on the floor.

"You're not sleeping on the floor, get back up here." You chuckled cracking a smile for the first time that night. A small grin formed on Felix's face at the sound of your laugh. He got back up onto the bed laying next to you. You both stared up at the ceiling growing quiet. Felix hoped maybe you would feel more at ease if someone was with you at night. When he finally turned his head he saw you squeezing your eyes shut.

"It wasn't your fault." Felix read your mind, trying to make you feel at ease.

"I know." You said, giving him a not so reassuring smile and reaching up to flick off your light.

"Goodnight y/n." Felix turned the opposite direction of you mumbling.

"Night Felix." Things were going okay for a few hours until your nightmares hit like they always did. Felix rolled in his sleep at the sound of you mumbling next to him. He didn't wake up until you cried out loud in your sleep. "No!" You yelled clenching your first causing your knuckles to turn white. Your body had become entangled in the sheets, a thin sheen of sweat coating your skin.

"Shit, wake up y/n!" Felix shook you gently alarmed at your sudden outburst. His voice was masked by his accent that had become thicker due to his sleepy state.

Your mumbling changed to faint whimpers until your eyes flew open meeting Felix's worried stare. Your eyes darted around the room looking at anything but Felix. The room was spinning, turning the darkness around you into a churning mess. You felt like you were going to fall off of the bed. Your heart was pounding in your chest as you sat up, starting to cry.

Felix grabbed onto your hand speaking in a low tone. "It's okay just breathe. The dream wasn't real. You're here with me." While normally his voice would be soothing it only made things worse.

"But...but the car! The little girl.." You rushed out in your sleepily state that didn't make things any better. In your dream instead of hitting another car, you hit a little girl that was involved with the crash. It had terrified you.

"Look at me." Felix cupped your face into his hands to make you focus on him.

"It's all...m-my fault." You said in between your broken sobs referring to your dream that had been one of the worst yet.

"Don't cry, please, I hate seeing you like this." Felix could do nothing but hug you trying to help you calm down. You clung onto him allowing yourself to calm down. He had never seen you so vulnerable, afraid. His heart that had become filled with sadness went out to you and he hugged you bit tighter. Felix never knew the nightmares were this bad since you always downplayed them. He wanted to protect you from your own mind. "Do you want some water?" Felix asked after your breathing had slowed down. You wordlessly nodded and he quickly went to your kitchen getting you a cup of water. When he came back you drunk the water refusing to look up at him. "Everything is okay now. We can stay up if you need to." Felix held you close someone keeping his calming demeanor.

You wiped your eyes nodding your head. "I'm okay, we can lay down again. It's okay." Your words seemed like you were rather trying to convince yourself that everything was fine. Felix listened anyways, helping you get back into bed.

"Remember I'm right here okay?" He said reassuringly laying down next to you again. You nodded slowly closing your eyes. This time Felix didn't turn away. He laid closer than before, keeping ahold of your hand. He waited to close his own eyes until he saw your breathing slow, giving him the sign that you had fallen back asleep. Felix knew if it meant that you would get better, he would stay by your side every night.
